Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan peserta didik dalam menerima pembelajaran yang disampaikan guru kurang baik. Kurangnya partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran cenderung terpusat pada guru, karena Kurangnya penggunaan metode yang variatif dalam pembelajaran. dengan ini Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA melalui penerapan metode Example Non Example. Dan penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang dirancang dalam dua siklus dimana dalam setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kulitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data kualitatif digunakan untuk memaknai hasil pengamatan yang berasal dari lembar observasi yang dalam penelitian ini pengamatan tindakan yang dilakukan guru dan aktifitas peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. analisis data kuantitatif digunakan untuk menentukan hasil belajar IPA pada peserta didik yang didapatkan melalui hasil tes kemudian mendeskripsikannya dalam bentuk diagram. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa: Dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Example Non Example pada pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik di kelas V SDN 1 Pulau Batu. hal ini diperoleh dari hasil pra survei dengan jumlah peserta didik 27 peserta, terdapat 10 peserta didik yang tuntas dengan presentase 37,04%, sedangkan sebanyak 17 peserta didik yang belum tuntas dengan presentase 62,96%. Pada siklus I sebanyak 20 peserta didik dengan presentase 74,07% mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar sedangkan peserta didik yang hasil belajarnya belum tuntas mencapai 7 peserta didik dengan presentase 25,93%. Selanjutnya pada siklus II peserta didik yang mencapai ketuntasan 22 peserta didik dengan presentase 81,48% sedangkan peserta didik yang hasil belajarnya belum tuntas mencapai 5 orang dengan presentase 18,52%. Dengan demikian dapat diketahui dari hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas V mengalami peningkatan sebesar 81,48% .Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Example Non Example dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas didik kelas V di SDN 1 Pulau Batu tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Lack of student participation in the learning process, the learning process tends to be centered on the teacher, due to the lack of use of varied methods in learning. hereby, the aim of this research is to improve science learning outcomes through the application of the Example Non Example method. And this research is classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) which is designed in two cycles where each cycle consists of 3 meetings. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative data analysis is used to interpret the results of observations originating from observation sheets, which in this research are observations of actions taken by teachers and student activities in the learning process. Quantitative data analysis is used to determine science learning outcomes for students which are obtained through test results and then describe them in diagram form. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that: Using the Example Non Example learning method in science learning can increase students' interest in learning in class V at SDN 1 Pulau Batu. This was obtained from the results of the pre�survey with a total of 27 students, there were 10 students who had completed it with a percentage of 37.04%, while there were 17 students who had not completed it with a percentage of 62.96%. In the first cycle, 20 students with a percentage of 74.07% achieved complete learning outcomes, while 7 students whose learning outcomes were not yet complete reached 7 students with a percentage of 25.93%. Furthermore, in cycle II there were 22 students who achieved completeness with a percentage of 81.48%, while 5 students whose learning results were not yet complete reached 5 people with a percentage of 18.52%. Thus, it can be seen that the science learning outcomes of class V students have increased by 81.48%. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the Example Non Example learning method can improve the science learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 1 Pulau.
