Abstract

ABSTRAK Guru mempunyai peranan dalam membentuk karakter anak didik. Pengasuhan anak usia dini diawali dari lingkungan keluarga yang dapat berlanjut juga menjadi tanggung jawab guru di lembaga PAUD. Anak usia dini merupakan masa yang tepat untuk melakukan pendidikan. Pada masa ini anak sedang mengalami proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang luar biasa. Keberadaan pendidikan sangat penting dalam menjamin keberlangsungan hidup suatu bangsa terutama dalam menanamkan semangat kebangsaan sejak dini. Penanaman sikap nasionalisme merupkan upaya untuk mendidik seseorang pada pengembangan perilaku cinta pada negara, makna suat bangsa dan identitas suat negara. Ada dua rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: Bagaimana peran guru dalam menanamkan sikap nasionalisme anak usia dini diTaman Kanak-Kanak Cempaka Tanggamus? Apa kendala yang dihadapi guru kelas dalam menanamkan sikap nasionalisme anak usia dini di Taman Kanak-Kanak Cempaka Tanggamus? Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara sistematis,aktual, dan akurat mengenai data-data, fakta, dan sifat-sifat individu,keadaan gejala atau kelompok tertentu menurut apa adanya. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaituobservasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penilitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran guru dalam mendidik anak usia dini di TK Cempaka Tanggamus yaitu guru sebagai teladan, pengarah, motivator, dan mediator. Upaya guru TK Cempaka Tanggamus dalam menanamkan sikap nasionalisme pada anak usia dini yaitu melalui kegiatan pembelajaran dan kegiatan pembiasaan yang terdiri dari kegiatan rutin, kegiatan keteladanan dan kegiatan spontan. Anak usia dini yang ada di TK Cempaka Tanggamus telah menerapkan sikap nasionalisme seperti menghargai jasapahlawan, menggunakan produk dalam negeri, menghargai keindahan alam dan budaya Indonesia, serta melaksanakan kegiatan bela negara yang di implementasikan kegiatan akademik maupun non akademik. Kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam menanamkan sikap nasionalisme anak usia dini di TK Cempaka Tanggamus yakni terbatasnya waktu, terbatasnya media, kesenjangan antara lingkungan di luar sekolah dengan penerapan yang sudah di laksanakan di sekolah. Early childhood care starts from the family environment which can continue to also be the responsibility of teachers in PAUD institutions. Early childhood is the right time to do education. At this time the child is experiencing a process of extraordinary growth and development. The existence of education is very important in ensuring the survival of a nation, especially in instilling the spirit of nationalism from an early age. Instilling an attitude of nationalism is an effort to educate someone on the development of loving behavior towards the country, the meaning of a nation and the identity of a country. There are two formulations of the problem in this study, namely: What is the role of the teacher in instilling an attitude of nationalism in early childhood at Cempaka Tanggamus Kindergarten? what are the obstacles faced by classroom teachers in instilling an attitude of nationalism in early childhood at Cempaka Tanggamus Kindergarten? This research is descriptive in nature, namely research that aims to describe in a systematic, actual, and accurate manner regarding data, facts, and individual characteristics, states of symptoms or certain groups according to what they are. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study concluded that the teacher's role in educating early childhood in Cempaka Tanggamus Kindergarten is the teacher as a role model, director, motivator, and mediator. The efforts of Cempaka Tanggamus Kindergarten teachers in instilling an attitude of nationalism in early childhood is through learning activities and habituation activities which consist of routine activities, exemplary activities and spontaneous activities. Early childhood in Cempaka Tanggamus Kindergarten has implemented an attitude of nationalism such as appreciating the services of heroes, using domestic products, appreciating the natural beauty and culture of Indonesia, and carrying out state defense activities which are implemented in academic and non-academic activities. The obstacles faced by teachers in instilling an attitude of nationalism in early childhood in Cempaka Tanggamus Kindergarten are limited time, limited media, the gap between the environment outside the school and the implementation that has been carried out at school.
