Abstract

ABSTRAK PEER ATTACHMENT DAN GRIT PADA SISWA SMA YANG MENGIKUTI PROGRAM SISTEM KREDIT SEMESTER: MEDIASI GROWTH MINDSET Oleh: Annisa Azzahro Siswa yang terdaftar dalam program sistem kredit semester (SKS) cenderung menghadapi tekanan akademik yang lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan rekan-rekan mereka yang mengikuti program reguler. Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan peer attachment dan grit dengan pola pikir berkembang sebagai variabel mediator pada siswa SMA yang mengikuti program SKS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMA yang mengikuti program sistem kredit semester. Partisipan berjumlah 280 siswa yang terdiri dari 124 laki-laki dan 156 perempuan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga instrumen alat ukur yaitu Skala Grit, Skala Peer Attachment, dan Skala Growth Mindset. Uji analisis hipotesis regresi menggunakan PROCESS SPSS. Hasil pengujian hipotesis, ditemukan pengaruh positif signifikan antara peer attachment dan growth mindset, serta antara growth mindset dan grit. Namun, peer attachment tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap grit. Hipotesis juga menunjukkan adanya efek tidak langsung yang signifikan antara peer attachment dan grit, yang dimediasi oleh growth mindset, artinya growth mindset berperan penuh sebagai mediator dalam hubungan peer attachment dengan grit. Kata kunci: Grit; peer attachment; growth mindset; sistem kredit semester; siswa SMA.ABSTRACT PEER ATTACHMENT AND GRIT IN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH SEMESTER CREDIT SYSTEM PROGRAM: A GROWTH MINDSET MEDIATION Students enrolled in the Semester Credit System (SKS) program tend to experience higher academic pressure than their regular program counterparts. This research examines the relationship between peer attachment and grit with a growth mindset as a mediator variable in high school students who follow the SKS program. With a quantitative approach, the subjects of this research were high school students who participated in the semester credit system program. Participants amounted to 280 students, consisting of 124 men and 156 women. Data collection used three measuring instruments: the Grit Scale, Peer Attachment Scale, and Growth Mindset Scale—hypothesis analysis using PROCESS SPSS. The results found a significant favorable influence between peer attachment and growth mindset (b = 0.302, p < 0.05) and between growth mindset and grit (b = 1.014, p < 0.05). However, peer attachment did not directly affect grit (b = 0.100, p > 0.05). The hypothesis also suggests a significant indirect effect between peer attachment and grit, mediated by growth mindset (b = 0.306, p < 0.05), meaning that growth mindset plays a full role as a mediator in peer attachment and grit relationships.
