Abstract

ABSTRAK Bagi suatu perusahaan, sumber daya yang dimiliki seperti aset, teknologi dan kekayaan intelektual merupakan faktor penting yang dapat menunjang pertumbuhan profitabilitas. Salah satu hal penting yang harus diperhatikan adalah bagaimana cara manajemen perusahaan mengelola aset yang dimiliki. Manajemen perusahaan harus dapat mengelola aset perusahaan secara efektif dan efisien, sehingga hal tersebut dapat berdampak pada peningkatkan profitabilitas bagi perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Intellectual Capital dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Profitabilitas Perusahaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif. Populasi yang dipilih adalah perusahaan Bank Umum Syariah yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan periode 2017-2021 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 9 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diambil dengan metode dokumentasi dan mengakses situs www.ojk.go.id. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda yang diolah dengan bantuan program SPSS Ver. 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intellectual capital berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan, sedangkan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Pandangan profitabilitas dalam ekonomi Islam memandang bahwa keuntungan dalam bisnis bukan hanya berupa laba yang bersifat materi tetapi berupa keuntungan non materi yaitu benefit keberkahan. Profitabilitas dalam perspektif Islam yang berpedoman pada Al-Qur’an dan Hadist menjadi suatu acuan dalam mencapai sebuah tujuan profitabilitas tanpa meninggalkan orientasi akhirat. Hal ini dikarenakan sesungguhnya angka ataupun materil hanya merupakan suatu alat guna mencapai tujuan akhirat tersebut. Kata Kunci: Intellectual Capital, Ukuran Perusahaan dan Profitabilitas Perusahaan. ABSTRACT For a company, owned resources such as technology assets and intellectual property are important factors that can support the growth profitability. One of the important things that must be considered is how the company’s management manages its assets. Company management must be able to manage the company assets effectively and efficiently so that this can have an impact on increasing profitability for the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Intellectual Capital and Company Size on Company Profitability. This type of research is associative research. The selected population is a Sharia Commercial Bank company registered with the Financial Services Authority for the period 2017-2021 with a total sample of 9 companies. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The type of data used is secondary data taken by the method of documentation and accessing the site www.ojk.go.id. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis which were processed with the help of the SPSS Ver. program 25. The research results show that intellectual capital has a positive effect on company profitability, while company size has no effect on company profitability. The view of profitability in Islamic economics views that profit in business are not only in the form of material profit but in the form of non material benefits, namely the benefits of blessings. Profitability in an Islamic perspective which is guided by the Al-Qur’an and Hadist becomes a reference in achieving a profitability goal without leaving the afterlife orientation. This is because actually numbers or material are only a tool to achieve the goal of the hereafter. Keywords: Intellectual Capital, Company Size and Company Profitability.
