Abstract

ABSTRAK UPAYA GURU AKIDAH AKHLAK DALAM MENANAMKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS PESERTA DIDIK DI MTS PEMNU TALANGPADANG KAB. TANGGAMUS OLEH WIDIA ANGGRAINI Guru adalah contoh terbaik dalam pendidik, mempunyai karakter profesional yang memiliki tugas utama mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, dan mengevaluasi peserta didik atau siswa. Dalam konteks pencapaian tujuan pendidikan karakter, guru menjadi ujung tombak keberhasilan tersebut. Guru, sebagai sosok yang di gugu dan ditiru, mempunyai peran penting dalam aplikasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah. Sebagai guru tidak hanya bertugas untuk menyampaikan mata pelajaran tertentu saja, tetapi juga di tuntut untuk dapat membimbing, mengarah kan dan memberikan tauladan yang terpuji bahkan hukuman sehingga dapat membantu menumbuh kan prilaku yang baik serta akhlak mulia pada peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari- hari. Hal ini, bisa di telusuri berdasarkan obsevasi dan wawancara dengan guru dan peserta didik, hasil terlihat bahwa sebagian dari peserta didik masih belum sepenuhnya bisa menerapkan karakter religius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru akidah akhlak dalam menanamkan karakter religius peserta didikdi MTs Pemnu Talangpadang kab. Tanggamus. Jenis penelitian ini ialah berbasis penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun tekhnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan observasi,wawancara (intervew), dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam rangka mewujudkan dan membentuk karakter religius siswa guru akidah akhlak melakukan pendekatan kepada siswa dengan menggunakan beberapa metode, di antaranya yaitu metode hiwar atau percakapan, metode qashash atau cerita, motode uswah atau keteladanan, metode ceramah, metode pendidikan dengan nasehat, dan metode pembiasaan. dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai seorang pembimbing, guru melakukan beberapa cara yaitu : a) Guru memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk menceritakn permasalahan yang sedang di alami, b) Guru mengarahkan peserta didik dalam setiap permasalahan yang di hadapinya , c) Guru memberikan nasehat kepada peserta didik, d) Guru melibatkan wali kelas dan orang tua dalam membimbing pendidikan karakter religius peserta didik. TANGGAMUS BY WIDIA ANGGRAINI Teachers are the best examples in educators, have professional characters who have the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating students or students. In the context of achieving the goals of character education, the teacher is the spearhead of this success. The teacher, as a person who is respected and imitated, has an important role in the application of character education at school and outside of school. As a teacher, it is not only in charge of delivering certain subjects, but is also required to be able to guide, direct and provide commendable examples and even punishments so that they can help foster good behavior and noble character in students in everyday life. This, can be traced based on observations and interviews with teachers and students, the results show that some of the students are still not fully able to apply religious character. This study aims to determine the efforts of teachers of moral aqidah in instilling the religious character of students at MTs Pemnu Talangpadang kab. Tanggamus. This type of research is based on field research using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews (interviews), and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses data reduction, and drawing conclusions. In order to realize and shape the religious character of students, teachers of aqidah morality approach students by using several methods, including the hiwar or conversation method, the qashash or story method, the uswah method or example, the lecture method, the educational method with advice, and the habituation method. In carrying out its role as a supervisor, the teacher does several ways, namely: a) The teacher provides opportunities for students to tell the problems that are being experienced, b) The teacher directs students in every problem they face, c) The teacher gives advice to students, d) ) The teacher involves the homeroom teacher and parents in guiding the religious character education of the students.
