Abstract

ABSTRAK Konseling kelompok merupakan suatu proses pemberian bantuan kepada seseorang dalam bentuk kelompok baik bersifat pencegahan maupun penyembuhan. Minat adalah ketertarikan seseorang terhadap sesuatu sehingga memberikan rasa senang dan juga perhatian yang konsisten Pendekatan RationalEmotive Behavior Theraphy merupakan sebuah pendekatan yang bertujuan untuk merubah pikiran irasional individu menjadi lebih rasional baik secara kognitif, emosi, ataupun perilakunya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling kelompok pendekatan Rational-Emotive Behavior Theraphy(REBT) untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-post-test dengan populasi 23 peserta didik dan sampel 8 peserta didik. Data penelitian diperoleh langsung dari responden melalui observasi, wawancara, kuisioner/ angket, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil angket dengan uji wilocoxon diperoleh skor negative rank sebesar 0a nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada satupun nilai post-test rsponden yang lebih rendah dari nilai pre-test responden. Selanjutnya skor positive rank sebesar 8b menunjukkan bahwa seluruh nilai post-test responden lebih besar dari nilai pre-test responden. Sedangkan ties 0c menunjukkan bahwa antara skor pre-test dan post-test tidak ada yang sama dan output test statistic diketahui asymp.sig.(2-tailed)bernilai 0.012. Karena nilai 0.012< 0.05 maka terdapat perbedaan antara skor minat belajar setelah diberikan layanan konseling kelompok pendekatan rational-emotive behavior theraphy dengan skor sebelum diberikan layanan. Interest is a person's interest in something so as to provide a sense of pleasure and consistent attention. Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy approach is an approach that aims to change an individual's irrational thoughts to become more rational both cognitively, emotionally, or behaviorally. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group counseling with the RationalEmotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach to increase student interest in learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. This thesis uses experimental quantitative methods with a one group pretest-post-test research design with a population of 23 students and a sample of 8 students. The research data was obtained directly from the respondents through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of the questionnaire with the wilocoxon test, a negative rank score of 0a was obtained. This value indicates that none of the respondents' post-test scores are lower than the respondents' pre-test scores. Furthermore, a positive rank score of 8b indicates that all of the respondents' post-test scores are greater than the respondents' pre-test scores. Meanwhile, ties 0c indicates that the pre�test and post-test scores are not the same and the statistical test output is known to be asymp.sig.(2-tailed) with a value of 0.012. Because the value is 0.012 < 0.05, there is a difference between the scores of interest in learning after being given group counseling services with the rationalemotive behavior therapy approach and scores before being given services.
