Abstract

ABSTRAK Berkembangnya teknologi komunikasi dan informasi merubah cara individu berinteraksi dengan individu lainnya. Hal ini dikuatkan dengan hadirnya “Internet” dan juga “Sosial Media”, dengan adanya internet dan juga sosial media memudahkan orang orang untuk memperoleh informasi secara cepat dari berbagai penjuru dunia tanpa batas jarak dan waktu. Belakangan ini semenjak proses pembelajaran online diterapkan, tingkat kedisiplinan peserta didik cendrung menurun seperti keterlambatan, tidak mengerjakan tugas, tidak masuk sekolah tanpa izin, dan masi banyak kasus lainnya. Hal ini disebabkan karena belum kembali terbiasanya peserta didik dengan sistem offline kembali, dimana yang biasanya mereka melaksanakan pembelajaran secara online kini mereka harus dibiasakan kembali dengan pembelajaran offline. Pada saat ini di kalangan remaja mereka lebih sering berinteraksi dengan gawainya, mereka lebih sering membuka sosial media mereka dibanding dengan buku pelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keefektivitasan pemberiaan layanan informasi melalui sosial media instagram sekolah dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara Lampung Timur. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi ekperimen menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik pada kelas XII IPA 1 dan XII IPA 2 di SMAN 1 Way Jepara. Sampel penelitian ini 10 peserta didik dari kelas XII IPA 1 dan 10 peserta didik dari kelas XII IPA 2 yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok yakni kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket kepada peserta didik sebanyak 30 butir pernyataan. Pada kelompok eksperimen, peneliti memberikan layanan informasi melalui sosial media instagram sekolah seperti konten feed dalam bentuk microblog, dan instagram story, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol diberikan layanan informasi melalui layanan klasikal sesuai dengan jam pelajaran bimbingan dan konseling pada kelas mereka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui terdapat peningkatan kedisiplinan setelah dilakukan pemberian layanan informasi melalui sosial media instagram dengan hasil uji Man Whitney U menyatakan bahwa nilai Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) 0.007, yang mana nilai tersebut kurang dari < 0,05 sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya adanya pengaruh pemberian layanan informasi melalui sosial media instagram sekolah dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMAN 1 Way Jepara. Kemudian didapatkan nilai n-gain rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelompok kontrol (68.89 > 50.20) Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian layanan informasi melalui sosial media instagram sekolah cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara Lampung Timur. Sehingga penulis merekomendasikan untuk tetap konsisten dilaksanakannya pemberian layanan informasi melalui sosial media instagram sekolah dan terus terjalinnya kerjasama antara guru BK, seluruh jajaran pihak sekolah dan juga peserta didik dalam menjaga citra baik sekolah. This is reinforced by the presence of "The Internet" and "Social Media", with the internet and also social media making it easier for people to get information quickly from various parts of the world without distance and time limits. Lately, since the online learning process has been implemented, the discipline level of students has tended to decrease, such as being late, not doing assignments, and not going to school without permission, and there are still many other cases. This is because students have not yet re-accustomed to the offline system, where they usually carry out online learning now they have to be reaccustomed to offline learning. At this time teenagers interact more often with their gadgets, and they open their social media more often than with textbooks. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of providing information services through the school's Instagram social media in improving student discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara, East Lampung. This research method was quantitative with a quasi-experimental type of research using data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The population of this study was the twelfth grades IPA 1 and IPA 2 of SMAN 1 Way Jepara. The sample of this study was 10 students from twelfth grade IPA 1 and 10 students from twelfth grade IPA 2 which were distributed into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group using the purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to students with as many as 30 statement items. In the experimental group, researchers provided information services through the school's Instagram social media such as feed content in the form of microblogs, and Instagram stories, while the control group was provided with information services through classical services according to the guidance and counseling lesson hours in their class. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an increase in discipline after the provision of information services through social media Instagram with the results of the Man Whitney U test stating that the Asymp.Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.007, which is less than <0.05 so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an effect of giving information services through the school's Instagram social media in improving the discipline of students at SMAN 1 Way Jepara. Then the average n-gain value of the experimental group was greater than the control group (68.89 > 50.20). So it can be concluded that the provision of information services through the school's Instagram social media is quite effective in improving student discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara, East Lampung. So the author recommends remaining consistent implementation of information services through social media Instagram school and continued cooperation between the teacher's BK, all levels of the school, and also the students in maintaining a good image of the school.
