Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada saat ini perkembangan zaman menyebabkan modernisasi dan kesetaraan gender menyebabkan suami istri dituntut untuk bekerja karena faktor ekonomi, sehingga pengasuhan anak dialihkan kepada kakek dan nenek (grandparents). Pembentukan karakter anak juga tergantung pada pola asuh dalam keluarga, karena orang tua harus selektif memilih pola asuh yang dapat memberikan pengaruh positif hingga ia terbiasa mandiri sejak dini. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru di TK Negeri 02 OKU diperoleh informasi bahwa belum semua anak memiliki kemandirian yang maksimal, karena setiap anak memiliki pengaruh lingkungan dan pengaruh pola asuh keluarga yang berbeda. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh grandparenting dengan kemandirian anak kelompok B di TK Negeri 02 OKU. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang menggunakan observasi, kuesioner (angket), dan dokumentasi. Populasi pada pnelitian ini adalah kakek dan nenek dari peserta didik kelompok B di TK Negeri 02 OKU. Sampel yang diambil pada penelitian ini yaitu berjumlah 9 grandparents. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi rank spearman untuk menjawab hipotesis. Analisis data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat bantu program SPSS 26. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara pola asuh grandparenting dengan kemandirian anak kelompok B di TK Negeri 02 OKU. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai correlation coefficient sebesar 0,971 artinya termasuk dalam kategori “sangat kuat” dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hubungan yang bersifat sangat kuat dan positif, dimana semakin sering anak di asuh oleh kakek dan nenek (pola asuh grandparenting) maka anak tersebut akan lebih mandiri. The formation of children's character also depends on parenting in the family, because parents must be selective in choosing parenting patterns that can have a positive influence until they get used to being independent from an early age. Based on the results of interviews with teachers at TK Negeri 02 OKU, information was obtained that not all children have maximum independence, because each child has different environmental influences and family parenting styles. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between grandparenting parenting and the independence of group B children in TK Negeri 02 OKU. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a correlational approach. With data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires (questionnaire), and documentation. The population in this study were the grandparents of group B students in TK Negeri 02 OKU. The sample taken in this study amounted to 9 grandparents. The data analysis technique in this study used the Spearman rank correlation test to answer the hypothesis. Quantitative data analysis using SPSS 26 program tools. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a very strong and significant relationship between grandparenting parenting and the independence of group B children in TK Negeri 02 OKU. It is shown from the results of the hypothesis test that a correlation coefficient value of 0.971 means that it is included in the "very strong" category and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The relationship is very strong and positive, where the more often the child is cared for by grandparents (grandparenting) the child will be more independent.
