Abstract

ABSTRAK Percaya diri merupakan salah satu aspek kepribadian yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia.Percaya diri yang dimiliki setiap individu berbeda�beda, sehingga keduanya menampakkan perbedaan tingkah lakuPercaya diri menentukan bagaimana seseorang merasakan sesuatu, berfikir dan memotivasi diri serta perilaku.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan konseling individu dengan pendekatan Client Centered untuk meningkatkan percaya diri peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Kebun Tebu. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif. Data primer diperoleh langsung dari responden Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling ibu Diana Dewi Lestari, S.Pd dan peserta didik beinisial AMS, FI dan JP mengenai pelaksanaan konseling individudengan pendekatan Client Centered untuk meningkatkan percaya diri peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Kebun Tebu , sedangkan datasekundernya diperoleh dari buku-buku relevan yang berkaitan dengan judulpenelitian, dokumen-dokumen resmi, dan data-data yang terkait denganpelaksanaan konseling individu dengan pendekatan Client Centered untuk meningkatkan percaya diri peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Kebun Tebu. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa pelaksanaan konseling individu dengan pendekatan Client Centered untuk meningkatkan percaya diri peserta didik telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan terdapatnya perubahan peserta didik. Peserta didik mulai bisa percaya untuk mencoba maju kedepan untuk berpendapat, dalam hal ini terlihat dari keaktifan didalam kelas karena pemberian motivasi oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling. Kata Kunci:Pendekatan Client Centered, Percaya Diri ABSTRACT Self-confidence is one of the most important aspects of personality in human life. The self-confidence that each individual has is different, so that both show differences in behavior. Self-confidence determines how a person feels, thinks and motivates oneself and behavior. This study aims to describe the process of implementing individual counseling with a Client Centered approach to increase the confidence of students at SMK Negeri 1 Kebun Tebu. This study uses interview data collection techniques, documentation and observation. The method used in this study is to use a qualitative research design. Primary data obtained directly from the Guidance and Counseling teacher respondents, Diana Dewi Lestari, S.Pd and students with the initials AMS, FI and JP regarding the implementation of individual counseling with the Client Centered approach to increase the confidence of students at SMK Negeri 1 Kebun Sugarcane, while secondary data were obtained from relevant books related to research titles, official documents, and data related to the implementation of individual counseling with a Client Centered approach to increase the confidence of students at SMK Negeri 1 Kebun Tebu. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of individual counseling with the Client Centered approach to increase student confidence, it has been implemented well and there have been changes learners. Students begin to be able to believe in trying to come forward to have an opinion, in this case it can be seen from the activity in the classroom because of the provision of motivation by the guidance and counseling teacher.
