Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang skripsi ini karena adanya permasalahan pada Mahasiswa Penerima Beasiswa BAZNAS Kota Bandar Lampung yang mengalami fluktuasi terhadap Indeks Prestasi Komulatif (IPK) ditiap semesternya sehingga peneliti merumuskan masalah yakni Bagaimana Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa Penerima Beasiswa BAZNAS di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Bandar lampung dan Bagaimana Faktor Pendukung dan Penghambat dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa Penerima Beasiswa BAZNAS di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yang dianalisa secara kualitatif yang termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Informan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa BAZNAS di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 27 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti adalah teknik Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan pengumpulan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Pada saat melaksanakan penelitian penulis menggunakan teknik snowball, dimana sampel diperoleh melalui proses bergulir dari responden satu ke responden lain. Dalam teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap-tahap berikut yaitu Reduksi Data (Data Reduction), Penyajian Data (Data Display), Dan Penarikan Kesimpulan (Conclussion Drawing/Verification). Dalam menguji keabsahan data penulis menggunakan teknik Triangulasi Sumber, teknik dan waktu. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1). Motivasi belajar Mahasiswa penerima beasiswa BAZNAS terbilang cukup tinggi dengan mendapatkan beasiswa BAZNAS mereka dituntut agar tidak mengalami penurunan dalam Indeks Prestasi Komulatif (IPK) ditiap semesternya. Dengan demikian mereka akan melakukan upaya�upaya agar terpacu semangatnya dalam mengikuti proses perkuliahan, karena jika tidak beasiswa BAZNAS yang bersangkutan akan dicabut. Maka dari itu mereka selalu meningkatkan motivasi belajar mereka agar mendapatkan hasil yang baik. 2). Faktor pendukung dalam motivasi belajar Mahasiswa Penerima Beasiswa BAZNAS yakni : Diri sendiri, Orang tua, Teman-teman, Pendidik, Membuat time line, Belajar dengan siapa saja seperti belajar bersama kakak tingkat, keluarga atau orang-orang yang mumpuni dibidangnya, Mengikuti iv seminar dan melihat quotes di media sosial tentang belajar. Adanya semangat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang S2. Dan dari pihak BAZNAS. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yakni : Masih adanya rasa malas didalam diri Mahasiswa, Terkadang jaringan mengalami gangguan, Ketersediaan kuota yang cepat habis (boros), Dimasa perkuliahan daring akibat pandemi covid-19 materi yang diajarkan susah untuk dapat dipahami dan dicerna. Apalagi jika mendapatkan Dosen yang tidak mumpuni dalam bidangnya, Kondisi lingkungan, Handphone, Ajakan teman untuk bermain dan disambi dengan kegiatan lainnya seperti bekerja diluar untuk membantu perekonomian keluarga pastinya tugas menjadi terlantar, dan tertunda. Kata Kunci : Motivasi Belajar, Beasiswa BAZNAS v ABSTRACT The background of this thesis is that there are problems with BAZNAS Scholarship Recipients in Bandar Lampung City who experience fluctuations in the Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA) in each semester so that researchers formulate the problem, namely How is the Learning Motivation of BAZAS Scholarship Recipients at State Universities in Bandar Lampung and What are the Supporting Factors and Barriers in Improving Learning Motivation of BAZNAS Scholarship Recipients at state Universities in Bandar Lampung. This research is descriptive and analyzed qualitatively which is included in the type of field research. The informants involved in this study were students who received the BAZNAS Scholarship at State Universities in Bandar Lampung, amounting to 27 people. Data collection tecniques carried out by researchers are observation, interviews and documentation techniques using primary and secondary data collection. At the time of carrying out the research the author used the snowball technique, where the sample was obtained through a rolling process from one respondent to another. The data analysis technique is carried out throught the following stages, namely Data Reduction, Data Display, and Conclussion Drawing/Verification. In testing te validity of the data the author uses the Triangulation of Sources, techniques and time techniques. The result of this study indicate that : 1). Student motivation for BAZNAS Scholarship recipients is quite high. By getting a BAZNAS scholarship, they are required not to experience a decline in the Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA) In each semester. Thus they will make efforts to spur their enthusiasm in participating in the lecture process, because otherwise the relevant BAZNAS scholarship will be revoked. Therefore they always increase their learning motivation in order to get good result. 2). Supporting factors in the learning motivation of BAZNAS Scholarship Recipients are : Self, Parents, Friends, Making a timeline, Studying with anyone such as studying with seniors, family or people wo are qualified their fields, Attending seminars and viewing quotes on social media about learning. There is enthusiasm to continue education to the S2 level. And from BAZNAS. While the inhibiting factors are : There is still a sense of laziness in students, Sometimes the network experiences disruption, Availability of quotas that run out quickly (wasteful), During online lectures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the material taught is difficult to understand and digest. vi Especially if you get lecturers who are not qualified in their fields, environmental conditions, cellphones, invite friends to play and be accompanied by other activities such as working outside to help the family economy, of course the task will be neglected, and delayed.
