Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) adalah pendekatan behavior kognitif yang melakukan keterkaitan antara perasaan, tingkah laku, dan pikiran. Tujuan utama dari pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) berfokus pada membantu orang untuk menyadari bahwa mereka dapat hidup lebih rasional dan produktif . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling individual dengan tehnik Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) dapat mengurangi academic burnout peserta didik di SMAN 1 Kotabumi. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan Single Subject Research (SSR). Desain penelitian yaitu A-B-A. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMAN 1 Kotabumi. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara . instrumen penelitian ini adalah panduan observasi digunakan pada fase baseline-1, intervensi dan fase baseline-2 . Analisis data menggunakan analisis dalam kondisi dan analisis antar kondisi, disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Hasil menunjukan adanya perubahan dengan penurunan perilaku academic burnout yang ditunjukan AFR. Fase baseline-1 terlihat perilaku academic burnout meningkat. Pada fase intervensi dan diberi perlakuan berupa konseling individu dengan pendekatan rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT) menunjukkan hasil penurunan pada perilaku academic burnout pada AFR. Kemudian fase baseline-2 tanpa diberikan intervensi menunjukkan hasil yang semakin membaik. Dengan persentase overlape sebesar 0,5%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa perilaku academic burnout pada peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Kotabumi menurun dengan menggunakan tehnik pendekatan rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT). The main goal of the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach focuses on helping people to realize that they can live more rational and productive lives. This study aims to determine the effect of individual counseling with the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) technique in reducing the academic burnout of students at SMAN 1 Kotabumi. The research used is an experimental study with a Single Subject Research (SSR) approach. The research design is A-B-A. The subjects of this study were students of SMAN 1 Kotabumi. The data collection in this research is observation, documentation, and interviews. The research instrument is an observation guide used in the baseline-1 phase, intervention and baseline-2 phase. Analysis of the data using analysis in conditions and analysis between conditions, presented in the form of tables and graphs. The results show a change with a decrease in academic burnout behavior shown by AFR. The baseline-1 phase saw an increase in academic burnout behavior. In the intervention phase and given treatment in the form of individual counseling with a rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT) approach, it showed a decrease in academic burnout behavior in AFR. Then the baseline-2 phase without any intervention showed better results. With an overlap percentage of 0.5%. Based on this, it can be stated that the academic burnout behavior of students at SMA Negeri 1 Kotabumi decreased by using the rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT) approach.
