Abstract

ABSTRAK KAJIAN EKOTOKSIKOLOGI PADA ORGANISME Oleh: Dwi Yuliana 1711060169 Ekotoksikologi merupakan ilmu yang mempelajari efek toksik yang disebabkan oleh polutan alami dan sintesis yang berhubungan dengan ekosistem binatang atau manusia, tumbuhan dan mikroba secara integral. Efek ekotoksikologis merupakan respon pada tingkat organisasi biologis, dari tingkat molekular-ekosistem. Respon biokimia terjadi dalam waktu paling singkat, setelah organisme mengalami pendedahan suatu bahan kimia (polutan). Sasaran pada penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Intan Lampung khusunya pada prodi pendidikan biologi. Sehingga tujuan dari penulisan Modul ini untuk mengetahui mendeskripsikan ekotoksikologi pada organisme. Toksisitas merupakan kemampuan merusak suatu bahan kimia pada saat bahan tersebut mengenai bagian dalam atau permukaan tubuh yang peka terhadap bahan kimia tersebut. Sejalan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta perkembangan penduduk, masyarakat menuntut perbaikan mengenai kondisi kesehatan dan kehidupan diantaranya gizi, pakaian, tempat tinggal dan transportasi. Dengan mempelajari ekotoksikologi dapat diketahui keberadaan polutan dalam suatu lingkungan (ekosistem) yang dalam waktu singkat, dapat menyebabkan perubahan biokimiawi sampai dengan ekosistem menunjukkan adanya peningkatan waktu respon terhadap bahan kimia, peningkatan kesulitan untuk mengetahui hubungan respon dengan bahan kimia spesifik, dan increasing importance. Kata kunci: Ekotoksikologi, toksisitas, organisme iv ABSTRACT ECOTOXICOLOGICAL STUDY ON ORGANISMS By: Dwi Yuliana 1711060169 Ecotoxicology is a science that studies the toxic effects caused by natural and synthetic pollutants associated with an integral ecosystem of animals or humans, plants and microbes. Ecotoxicological effects are responses at the level of biological organization, from the molecular-ecosystem level. The biochemical response occurs in the shortest time, after the organism has been exposed to a chemical (pollutant). The targets in this study were students of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Raden Intan Lampung, especially in the biology education study program. So the purpose of writing this module is to describe the ecotoxicology of organisms. Toxicity is the ability to damage a chemical when it hits the inside or surface of the body that is sensitive to the chemical. In line with the development of science and technology as well as population development, society demands improvements in health and living conditions including nutrition, clothing, housing and transportation. By studying ecotoxicology, it can be seen the presence of pollutants in an environment (ecosystem) which in a short time, can cause biochemical changes to the ecosystem showing an increase in response time to chemicals, increasing difficulty in knowing the relationship between responses to specific chemicals, and increasing importance.
