Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on the pre-survey that researchers have conducted at SMA N 1 Bumi Agung, student learning outcomes are still low. This is caused by many factors, one of which is learning that is still very teacher-centered. Moreover, at this time there is a covid-19 pandemic that uses online learning or internet-based learning. In online learning the teacher only uses the Whatsapp application as a medium of communication between the teacher and students, the teacher gives the task of students to read the material and then gives assignments in the form of multiple choice questions. This results in students being less active and understanding learning well. To overcome this problem, the researchers applied the Means Ends Analysis learning model to the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education at SMA N 1 Bumi Agung. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Means Ends Analysis learning model on PAI learning outcomes for class X SMA N 1 Bumi Agung The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the type of research used is Quasy Experimental Design. The population in this study were all students of class XI at SMA N 1 Bumi Agung totaling 157 students, while the samples in this study were 2 classes that were chosen randomly, namely class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class which amounted to 32 students and class XI IPA 2 as the control class amounted to 32 students. The data collection technique used is in the form of pretest and posttest learning outcomes tests in the form of essay questions and documentation. The data analysis technique used normality test using normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing with t test. Based on the results of research and discussion of the data, the results of hypothesis testing showed tcount = 41,839 which was included in the significant category. This shows that the Means Ends Analysis learning model can be applied at SMA N 1 Bumi Agung. iii ABSTRAK Berdasarkan pra survey yang telah peneliti lakukan di SMA N 1 Bumi Agung hasil belajar peserta didik masih rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya adalah pembelajaran yang masih sangat berpusat pada guru. Terlebih lagi pada saat ini terjadi pandemi covid – 19 yang menggunakan pembelajaran daring atau pembelajaran berbasis internet. Dalam pembelajaran daring guru hanya menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp sebagai media komunikasi antara guru dengan peserta didik, guru memberi tugas peserta didik untuk membaca materi lalu memberikan tugas berupa soal pilihan ganda. Hal ini mengakibatkan peserta didik kurang aktif dan memahami pembelajaran dengan baik. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, peneliti menerapkan model pembelajaran Means Ends Analisys terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam di SMA N 1 Bumi Agung. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Means Ends Analisys terhadap hasil belajar PAI kelas XI SMA N 1 Bumi Agung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Experimental Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI di SMA N 1 Bumi Agung yang berjumlah 157 peserta didik, sedangkan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 2 kelas yang dipilih secara random, yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 32 peserta didik dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 32 peserta didik. Tekhnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah berupa tes hasil belajar pretest dan posttest berbentuk soal essay dan dukomentasi. Tekhnik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis dengan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dari data diperoleh hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan thitung = 41,839 yang termasuk dalam ketegori signifikan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Means Ends Analisys dapat diterapkan di SMA N 1 Bumi Agung.
