Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesulitan merupakan suatu kondisi tertentu yang ditandai dengan adanya hambatan-hambatan dalam kegiatan mencapai tujuan, sehingga memerlukan usaha lebih giat lagi untuk dapat mengatasi. Kesulitanbelajar dapat diartikan sebagai suatu kondisi dalam suatu proses belajar yang ditandai adanya hambatan-hambatan tertentu untuk mencapai keberhasilan belajar. Peserta didik di SMPN 2 Batu Ketulis Lampung Barat yang mengalami kesulitan belajar termasuk sangat minim. Dari beberapa kelas yang ada, terdapat 4 peserta didik kelas VIII yang mengalami kesulitan belajar. Permasalahan dalam penelitian adalah bagaimana upaya guru BK dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar peserta didik kelas VIII dengan menggunakan pendekatan Client Centered Therapy ? .Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar peserta didik kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Batu Ketulis Lampung Barat dengan mengimplementasikan konseling kelompok dengan menggunakan pendekatan Client Centered Therapy. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan deskriptif kualitatif yang di gunakan untuk menganalisis data atau menggambarkan yang telah terkumpul. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Implementasi Konseling Kelompok Dengan Pendekatan Client Centered Therapy dalam Mengatasi Kesulitan Belajar Peserta Didik kelas VIIIc diSMP Negeri 2 Batu Ketulis Lampung Barat mendapatkan hasil yang optimal dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar peserta didik. ABSTRACT Difficulty is a certain condition that is characterized by the presence of obstacles in activities to achieve goals, so that it requires even more active efforts to be able to overcome them. Learning difficulties can be interpreted as a condition in a learning process marked by certain obstacles to achieve learning success. There are very few students at SMPN 2 Batu Ketulis, West Lampung who have learning difficulties. From several existing classes, there are 4 students of class VIII who have learning difficulties. The problem in the research is how the BK teacher's efforts in overcoming the learning difficulties of class VIII students by using the Client Centered Therapy approach? The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of class VIII students at SMPN 2 Batu Ketulis West Lampung by implementing group counseling using the Client Centered Therapy approach. The method used is a qualitative method with qualitative descriptive which is used to analyze the data or describe what has been collected. Data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation of the validity of the data were carried out by triangulation. The results of research conducted by researchers, it can be concluded that the implementation of Group Counseling with Client Centered Therapy Approach in Overcoming Learning Difficulties of Class VIIIc Students at SMP Negeri 2 Batu Ketulis West Lampung got optimal results in overcoming students' learning difficulties.
