Abstract

ABSTRAK Sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu potensi ekonomi kerakyatan yang perlu dikembangkan dalam rangka meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan pembangunan daerah. Dengan berlimpahnya potensi alam yang dimiliki membuatnya menjadi daya tarik bagi wisatawan asing maupun lokal, hal ini tentunya berpengaruh pada meningkatnya perekonomian negara dan perekonomian masyarakat dilihat dari banyaknya kunjungan dan usaha yang dijalankan. Terkait dengan pariwisata dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, banyak tempat di Indonesia dan bahkan hampir diseluruh wilayahnya terdapat tempat-tempat menarik yang bisa dimanfaatkan dan menjadi sentra pariwisata yang berdampak pada kesejahteraan masyarakat sekitarnya. Salah satunya adalah Kabupaten Lampung Barat yang memiliki berbagai tempat pariwisata yang menarik untuk dikunjungi, salah satunya adalah Kebun Raya Liwa. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana peranan objek wisata Kebun Raya Liwa terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat Kecamatan Balik Bukit Kabupaten Lampung Barat? Bagaimana peranan objek wisata Kebun Raya Liwa terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat Kecamatan Balik Bukit Kabupaten Lampung Barat dalam Perspektif Ekonomi Islam?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan objek wisata Kebun Raya Liwa terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat Kecamatan Balik Bukit Kabupaten Lampung Barat, dan untuk mengetahui pandangan Islam tentang peranan objek wisata Kebun Raya Liwa terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan yang bersifat kualitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Balik Bukit Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pelaku usaha yang berada disekitar objek wisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pariwisata Kebun Raya Liwa memberikan peran terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat yang berada di sekitar objek wisata. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari Wisata Kebun Raya Liwa memberikan kontribusi kepada masyarakat berupa penyediaan lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat sekitar. Selain penyediaan lapangan pekerjaan, keberadaan Wisata Kebun Raya Liwa memberikan inovasi kepada masyarakat untuk membuka usaha-usaha kecil untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari hidupnya. With the abundance of natural potential that is owned, it makes it an attraction for foreign and local tourists, this of course has an effect on increasing the country's economy and the economy of the people seen from the number of visits and businesses carried out. With regard to tourism and community welfare, many places in Indonesia and even in almost all of its territories there are interesting places that can be used and become tourism centers that have an impact on the welfare of the surrounding community. One of them is West Lampung Regency which has various interesting tourism places to visit, one of which is the Liwa Botanical Garden. The problem of this research is: How is the role of the Liwa Botanical Garden tourist attraction in improving the welfare of the people of Balik Bukit District, West Lampung Regency? How is the role of the Liwa Botanical Garden tourism object in improving the welfare of the people of Balik Bukit Subdistrict, West Lampung Regency in an Islamic Economic Perspective? The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Liwa Botanical Garden tourist attraction in improving the welfare of the people of Balik Bukit Subdistrict, West Lampung Regency, and to find out the Islamic view of the role of the Liwa Botanical Garden tourist attraction in improving the welfare of the community. This type of research is a qualitative field research, with data collection methods using observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted in Balik Bukit District, West Lampung Regency. The sample used in this research is business actors who are around tourist objects. The results showed that the Liwa Botanical Garden tourism gave a role to the welfare of the community around the tourist attraction. This can be seen from the Liwa Botanical Garden Tour contributing to the community in the form of providing jobs for the surrounding community. In addition to providing employment opportunities, the existence of Liwa Botanical Garden Tourism provides innovation to the community to open small businesses to meet their daily needs.
