Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan menggunakan metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) di SMPN 2 Wonosobo dengan berbagai metode pembelajaran agar murid mampu memahami disetiap pembelajaran yang dilakukan didalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, guru masih sering menggunakan metode konvensional yaitu ceramah, sehingga mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik sehingga kurang maksimal. Sebagai upaya metode pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan konsep pembelajaran yang baik adalah salah satunya dengan menerapkan metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) yang terancang secara terstruktur. Metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) ini adalah salah satu metode yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik secara perorangan maupun kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswamelalui penerapan metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitiankuantitatif dengan metode quasy eksperiment dengan design posttest only control design. Dengan design penelitian ini menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Wonosobo dengan teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling, yaitu terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas diantaranya kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dimana kelas eksperimen tersebut adalah kelas VII A dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah kelas VII B. Dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dan perhitungan Uji-t, didapatkan nilai sig 0,003 maka jika nilai Sig ,0,05 (5%) pada Sig (2-tailed) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan agama islam siswa kelas VII di SMPN 2 Wonosobo Kabupaten Tanggamus. Kata Kunci : Metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC), Hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam iiiABSTRAC This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education learning by using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning method at SMPN 2 Wonosobo with various learning methods so that students are able to understand every learning carried out in teaching and learning activities. learning methods are good, but in determining the learning method, what the teacher does is not structured in learning, teachers still often use conventional methods, namely lectures, then it was also found that during the learning process it was still not fun so that the learning methods used by teachers were not always in accordance with student needs. With the inappropriateness of the method used by the teacher, it affects the learning outcomes of students so that it is less than optimal. As an effort of learning methods that are expected to improve learning outcomes with good learning concepts, one of them is by applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method which is designed in a structured manner. The Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method is one method that can improve the understanding of students individually and in groups. Teachers place students as the center of the learning process, not only teachers who are active in delivering learning materials, students also actively participate in the learning process. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes through the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method in Islamic religious education learning. With this research design using experimental class and control class. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Wonosobo with the sampling technique in this study using random sampling, which consisted of two class groups including the experimental class and the control class. Where the experimental class is class VII A and the control class is class VII B. The data collection technique uses tests and documentation. Data were obtained from books on the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method and journals related to the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method in Islamic religious education learning. 0.003 then if the value of Sig is 0.05 (5%) on Sig (2-tailed) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method on the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education for seventh grade students at SMPN 2 Wonosobo, Tanggamus Regency.
