Abstract

ABSTRACT By: Adi Restiawan The affirmation of the importance of including moderation material is contained in Law Number 3 of 2017 which states that the implementation of the bookkeeping system is based on diversity, nationality, togetherness, archipelago, justice, and cooperation. Based on this law, the Indonesian government continues to promote the religious moderation program that has been included in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020-2024. As a follow-up to realize the learning process that is nuanced in the values of moderation, as well as minimizing the flow of understanding of radicalism in schools, the government through the ministry of religion took the first step by reviewing the materials of Fiqh subjects for Class XII, so that some materials needed to be drawn and reviewed is the material Khilafah, Jihad and Democracy. This study aims to analyze and describe the values of Islamic moderation in Fiqh textbooks for Class XII. The type of research applied in this study is library research, with a qualitative descriptive research method where the method seeks to describe and interpret the objects as they are. The data collection technique is in the form of documentation, where the documentation method is looking for data about variable things in the form of books and related to the subject of research. The data obtained were then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results showed that the fiqh textbook of Madrasah Aliyah for class XII published by the Ministry of Religion and Erlangga could be used accommodatively to the current development of education. Moderation values such as tolerance, fairness, and balance are mostly found in the components of concepts, facts, and principles of textbooks. But on the other hand, some narratives need to be corrected because they tend to trigger misunderstandings for readers, so written understanding must be clarified by linking it with examples of the internal conditions of the country so that students have broad insight and do not fall into rigid understanding. Keywords: Values, Islamic Moderation, Fiqh Madrasah Aliyah Textbooksviii ABSTRAK Oleh: Adi Restiawan Penegasan tentang pentingnya memasukkan materi moderasi tertuang dalam Undang-undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2017 yang menyebutkan bahwa penyelenggaraan system perbukuan berasaskan pada kebhinekaan, kebangsaan, kebersamaan, kenusantaraan, keadilan dan gotongroyong. Berdasarkan hal inilah pemerintah Indonesia terus menggalakkan program moderasi beragama yang sudah masuk dalam Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) 2020-2024. Sebagai tindak lanjut untuk mewujudkan proses pembelajaran yang bernuansa nilai-nilai moderasi, serta meminimalisir arus pemahaman radikalisme di sekolah, pemerintah melalui kementerian agama melakukan langkah awal dengan mereview kembali materi-materi pada mata pelajaran Fiqih Kelas XII, sehingga ditemukan beberapa materi yang perlu ditarik dan dikaji ulang yaitu materi Khilafah, Jihad dan Demokrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moderasi Islam dalam buku ajar Fiqih Kelas XII. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah library research, dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dimana metode yang berusaha menggambarkan dan menginterpretasi objek sesuai apa adanya. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi, dimana metode dokumentasi pada dasarnya yakni mencari data data mengenai hal-hal variable yang berupa buku- buku serta berkaitan dengan pokok pembahasan penelitian. data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku teks fiqih Madrasah Aliyah kelas XII terbitan Kementerian Agama dan Erlangga dapat digunakan secara akomodatif terhadap perkembangan pendidikan saat ini. Nilai-nilai moderasi seperti toleransi, keadilan, dan keseimbangan sebagian besar terdapat pada komponen konsep, fakta, dan prinsip buku teks. Namun di sisi lain ada beberapa narasi yang perlu dikoreksi karena cenderung memicu pemahaman yang salah bagi pembaca, sehingga pemahaman tertulis harus diperjelas dengan mengaitkan dengan contoh kondisi internal negara ini, hal ini tentu saja agar peserta didik memiliki wawasan yang luas dan tidak jatuh ke dalam pemahaman yang kaku.
