Abstract

ABSTRAK UPAYA GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENGATASI KESULITAN BACA TULIS AL-QUR’AN DI UPT SMP NEGERI 2 PAGELARAN KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU Oleh Cici Feriyani Kemampuan baca tulis Al-qur’an peserta didik dalam belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam harus dipecahkan melalui bantuan serta bimbingan guna mengatasi kesulitan baca tulis Al-Qur’an. Upaya untuk mengatasi kesulitan baca tulis Al-Qur’an peserta didik tentu merupakan tugas guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Dengan demikian terdapat permasalahan upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam mengatasi kesulitan baca tulis Al-Qur’an yaitu kurangnya jam pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam sehinga upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam mengatasi kesulitan baca tulis Al-Qur’an pada peserta didik belum berhasil secara maksimal. Dalam mengumpulkan data, penulis menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yang meliputi metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, serta teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam mengatasi kesulitan baca tulis Al-Qur’an serta mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam mengatasi kesulitan baca tulis Al-Qur’an pada kelas VIII A di UPT SMP Negeri 2 Pagelaran. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam mengatasi kesulitan baca tulis Al-Qur’an bagi peserta didik di UPT SMP Negeri 2 Pagelaran telah dilakukan dengan baik namun ternyata hasilnya masih kurang maksimal disebabkan oleh (1) peserta didik kesulitan dalam penerapan huruf-huruf hijaiyyah. (2) kurangnya minat peserta didik dalam pembelajaran baca tulis Al- Qur’an (3) kurang tersedianya sarana dan prasarana. The ability to read and write Al-qur’an students in learning Islamic Religious Education must be solved through assistance and guidance to overcome difficulties in reading and writing Al-Qur’an. Efforts to overcome students’ reading and writing difficulties of the Al-Qur’an are certainly the duty of Islamic Religious Education teachers. Thus there is a problem with the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading and writing Al-Qur’an, namely the lack of Islamic Religious Education lesson hours so that the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming the difficulties of reading and writing Al-Qur’an in students have not been maximally successful. In collecting data, the writer used data collection methods which included observation, documentation, and interview methods, and the data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading and writing the Qur’an and to determine the factors that become obstacles in overcoming Al- Qur’an reading and writing difficulties in class VIII A at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Pagelaran. From the results of the research, it was concluded that the efforts of the Islamic Religious Education teacher in overcoming the difficulties of reading and writing the Qur’an for students at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Pagelaran had been done well, but the results were still not optimal due to (1) student having difficulty in application of hijaiyyah letters. (2) the students lack of interest in learning to read and write Al-Qur’an (3) the lack of facilities and infrastructure.
