Abstract

ABSTRAK MODERNISASI PENDIDIKAN PESANTREN PRESFEKTIF NURCHOLISH MADJID Oleh: Laras Setyawan Penelitan tentang Modernisasi Pendidikan Pesantren Menurut Nurcholis Madjid, ini dilatar belakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa Nurcholis Madjid mengharapkan pengembangan pesantren tidak saja dilakukan dengan cara memasukan pengetahuan non-agama, melainkan agar lebih efektif, praktek pengajaran harus menerapkan metodologi dan kurikulum lebih baru dan modern. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis library reasearch (penelitian kepustakaan) dengan teknik analisis deskriptif, dengan cara mengumpulkan data atau bahan-bahan yang berkaitan dengan tema pembahasan kepustakaan, kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis isi (contentan aylisis) yang dimaksud dengan analisis isi adalah penelitian suatu masalah atau karangan untuk mengetahui latar belakang dan persoalan. Adapun hasil penelitian diperoleh yaitu ,(1) konsep keIslaman (2) konsep keIndonesiaan (3) konsep keilmuan. Konsep pembaharuan system pendidikan pondok pesantren relevan dengan dunia pendidikan Islam modern, baik secara filosofis maupun secara manajemen pendidikan dan tidaklah bertentangan dengan perkembangan dunia pendidikan modern saat ini. Gagasan atau ide yang ditawarkan Madjid terhadap dunia pesantren berkisar pada: 1) Merumuskan Kembali Tujuan Pesantren, 2) Penyempitan Orientasi Kurikulum dan 3) Sistem Nilai Dipesantren. Kata kunci: Modernisasi, Pendidikan Pesantren, Nurcholis Madjid iiABSTRACT Research on Modernization of Islamic Boarding Schools According to Nurcholis Madjid, this is motivated by the fact that Nurcholis Madjid hopes that the development of pesantren is not only carried out by incorporating non-religious knowledge, but to be more effective, teaching practices must apply newer and more modern methodologies and curricula. The method used in this study is a type of library reasearch (library research) with descriptive analysis techniques, by collecting data or materials related to the theme of literature discussion, then analyzed by content analysis (contentan analysis). a problem or essay to find out the background and problems. The research results obtained are, (1) the concept of Islam (2) the concept of Indonesia (3) the scientific concept operationally. The concept of reforming the Islamic boarding school education system is relevant to the world of modern Islamic education, both philosophically and in terms of educational management and does not conflict with the development of the modern world of education today. The ideas or ideas offered by Madjid to the world of Islamic boarding schools revolve around: 1) Redefining the Purpose of Islamic Boarding Schools, 2) Refinement of Curriculum Orientation and 3) Islamic Boarding School Value System.
