Abstract

ABSTRAK PEMBENTUKAN SIKAP TOLERANSI BERAGAMA DI PESANTREN KHALAF DAN SALAF (Pondok Pesantren al-Mujtama‟ al-Islami dan Pondok Pesantren Arroudhotul Wahida Di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan) Oleh UTAMI YULIYANTI AZIZAH Toleransi mempunyai peran yang sangat penting, karena sikap toleransi mampu memberikan dampak positif dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan tertua di Indonesia, pesantren mempunyai peran dalam membentuk karakter santri terutama sikap toleransi. Sikap toleransi dapat dibentuk melalui pendidikan di pondok pesantren khalaf maupun salaf. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran keteladanan kyai, kurikulum yang diajarkan di pondok pesantren serta kegiatan harian santri dalam membentuk sikap toleransi beragama santri di pondok pesantren khalaf dan salaf. Jenis penelitian ini adalah field research (lapangan), dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan di 2 pesantren yaitu Al-Mujtama‟ Al-Islami (khalaf), dan Arroudhotul Wahida (salaf). Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu, kyai, santri dan staf pengajar dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi melalui langkah-langkah analisis data yaitu pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data, dan menarik kesimpulan dengan di uji keabsahannya mengunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama peran keteladanan seorang kyai mampu membentuk sikap toleransi beragama santri di pesantren, santri secara tidak langsung dapat meneladani model, gaya, karakter, pemikiran dan model ber-Islam dari keteladanan kyai pengasuh pondok pesantren sebagai modelnya. Kedua, pembentukan sikap toleransi beragama di pondok pesantren Al- Mujtama‟ al-Islami diajarkan melaui pemberian materi pada mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan, tauhid, tarikh dan fiqh, sedangkan pada pondok pesantren Arroudhotul Wahida dalam membentuk sikap toleransi beragama melalui pengajaran kitab Islam klasik yaitu kitab syu‟abul Iman. Ketiga pembentukan sikap toleransi bergama di pondok pesantren Al-Mujtama‟ al-Islami dibentuk melalui kegiatan harian santri yaitu dalam kegiatan OP3M, sedangkan pembentukan sikap toleransi beragama di pondok pesantren Arroudhotul Wahida dibentuk melalui kegiatan BUMP. The aims of this research are to describe and analyze the role of the kyai's exemplary, the curriculum taught in the Islamic boarding schools and the daily activities of the students in forming the religious tolerance of the students in the khalaf and salaf Islamic boarding schools. The type of this research is field research with a qualitative descriptive method carried out in two Islamic boarding schools, namely al-mujtama 'al-Islam (khalaf) and arroudhotul al-wahida (salaf). Sources of data in this reasearch are kyai, students and teaching staff with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation through data analysis steps, namely data collection, data presentation, data reduction and drawing conclusions by testing its validity using source triangulation. Students can indirectly imitate the model, style, character, thought and model of being Islamic from the example of the kyai who cares for the boarding school as a model. Second, the formation of an attitude of religious tolerance in the boarding school Al-mujtama' Al-Islam is taught through the provision of material on subjects of civic education, monotheism, tarikh and fiqh. while at the Arroudhotul Wahida Islamic boarding school in forming an attitude of religious tolerance through the teaching of the classical Islamic book, namely the book of Syu'abul Iman. Third, the formation of an attitude of religious tolerance in the Al- Mujtama 'al-Islami Islamic boarding school was formed through the daily activities of the students, namely in the OP3M activity. Meanwhile, the formation of religious tolerance at the Arroudhotul Wahida Islamic boarding school was formed through BUMP activities.
