Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Socioscientific Issue untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kolaborasi dan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Pada penelitian ini metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperiment dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian berupa pretest dan postest. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal dan lembar observasi. Sebelum instrument digunakan terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji validitas, uji realibilitas dan uji hipotesis dengan pendahuluan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah peneliti lakukan dapat mendapatkan data bahwa adanya perbedaan pada kemampuan kolaborasi dan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada kelas Eksperimen yang menggunakan pendekatan Socioscientific Issue dengan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Konvensional berbantu buku cetak IPAS. Dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya menggunakan pendekatan socioscientific issues berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kolaborasi dan berpikir kreatif pada peserta didik. Kata kunci : Sociosceintific issues, kemampuan kolaborasi, berpikir kreatif peserta didik. iii ABSTRATC This research aims to determine the effect of the Socioscientific Issues approach to improving students' collaboration and creative thinking abilities. In this research, the research method used was Quasi Experimental with the research design used in this research being a pretest and posttest research design. Data collection techniques use questions and observation sheets. Before the instrument is used, a validity test, reliability test and hypothesis test are first carried out with preliminary normality and homogeneity tests. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, researchers can obtain data that there are differences in the collaboration and creative thinking abilities of students in the experimental class which uses the Socioscientific Issues approach and the control class which applies the conventional learning model assisted by printed science and science books. It can be concluded that using a socioscientific issues approach influences students' ability to collaborate and think creatively.
