Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui proses pengembangan media pembelajaran majalah digital berbasis pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan aplikasi canva pada materi getaran, gelombang dan bunyi; 2) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran majalah digital berbasis pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan aplikasi canva pada materi getaran gelombang dan bunyi; 3) mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap ketertarikan media pembelajaran majalah digital berbasis pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan aplikasi canva mpada materi getaran, gelombang dan bunyi. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan dari Borg and Gall yang dikemukakan oleh Sugiyono. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMP/MTs kelas VIII. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil angket respon peserta didik dan pendidik, angket validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil penelitian ini adalah; 1) telah dikembangkan media pembelajaran majalah digital berbasis pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan aplikasi canva pada materi getaran, gelombang dan bunyi, 2) berdasarkan penilaian dari para ahli media mendapatkan persentase skor rata-rata 82%, ahli materi mendapatkan persentase skor rata-rata 81%. Seluruh hasil rekapitulasi angket pada tahap validasi produk mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak; 3) hasil penilaian pendidik SMP/MTs mendapatkan presentase 91% dan respon peserta didik mendapatkan presentase 87% dalam kategori sangat menarik. Berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli materi, ahli media, respon pendidik dan peserta didik maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran majalah digital berbasis pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan aplikasi canva pada materi getaran, gelombang dan bunyi layak dan menarik digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Majalah digital, Pendekatan Kontekstual, Canva iv ABSTRAC The purpose of this research is: 1) to determine the development process of contextual-based digital magazine learning media using the Canva application on the topics of vibration, waves, and sound; 2) to assess the feasibility of contextual-based digital magazine learning media using the Canva application on the topics of vibration, waves, and sound; 3) to identify students' responses to the interest in contextual-based digital magazine learning media using the Canva application on the topics of vibration, waves, and sound. This research and development utilized the development model proposed by Borg and Gall, as outlined by Sugiyono. The subjects in this study were eighth-grade students of junior high schools (SMP/MTs). Data were collected through questionnaires assessing students' and educators' responses, as well as validation questionnaires from subject matter experts and media experts. The findings of this research are as follows: 1) a digital magazine learning media based on a contextual approach using the Canva application has been developed for the topics of vibration, waves, and sound; 2) based on assessments by media experts, it obtained an average score percentage of 82%, while subject matter experts gave an average score percentage of 81%. The overall questionnaire recapitulation results in the product validation phase met the criteria for being highly feasible; 3) assessments by junior high school educators yielded a percentage of 91%, and students' responses received a percentage of 87%, both falling into the category of very interesting. Based on evaluations by subject matter experts, media experts, educators, and students, it can be concluded that the contextual-based digital magazine learning media using the Canva application for the topics of vibration, waves, and sound is deemed suitable and interesting for instructional purposes.
