Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) terhadap pembelajaran berdasarkan kategori, jenjang pendidikan, variabel terikat dan materi sains yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian meta analisis. Pengumpulan data diambil dari lima tahun terakhir (2018-2022), yang dilakukan di database Scopus, Doaj, Google Scholar dan Sinta. Hasil dari keseluruhan artikel ilmiah yang diperoleh bahwa besar pengaruh (effect size) model pembelajaran ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) secara keseluruhan sebesar 1.68 terkategori tinggi dengan jumlah artikel sebanyak 6. Besar pengaruh model pembelajaran ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) sebesar 0.97 terkategori tinggi dengan 3 artikel dan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) sebesar 2.40 terkategori tinggi dengan 3 artikel. Besar pengaruh model pembelajaran ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) berdasarkan variabel terikatnya terkategori tinggi, pada miskonsepsi peserta didik sebesar 1.80 dengan 5 artikel dan berpikir kritis sebesar 1.12 dengan 1 artikel. Besar pengaruh model pembelajaran ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) berdasarkan materi sains terkategori tinggi, diantaranya materi fisika dengan 3 artikel effect size sebenar 1.23, materi kimia 2 artikel effect size sebesar 2.64, dan materi matematika dengan 1 artikel effect size sebesar 1.12. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) mampu meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran peserta didik. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a meta-analysis research approach. Data collection was taken from the last five years (2018-2022), which was carried out on the Scopus, Doaj, Google Scholar and Sinta databases. The results of all scientific articles obtained that the overall effect size of the ECIRR learning model (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) is 1.68, which was in the high category with 6 articles. The magnitude of the influence of the ECIRR learning model (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) based on the education level of Junior High School is 0.97 which was in the high category with 3 articles and High School was 2.40 which was in the high category with 3 articles. The influence of the ECIRR learning model (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) based on the dependent variable was in the high category, on students' misconceptions of 1.80 with 5 articles, and critical thinking of 1.12 with 1 article. The magnitude of influence of the ECIRR learning model (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) based on science material was in the high category, including physics material with 3 articles with an actual effect size of 1.23, chemistry material with 2 effect size articles of 2.64, and mathematics material with 1 article effect size of 1.12. This shows that the ECIRR learning model (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) is able to improve the quality of the learning process of students.
