Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran direct instruction berbasis metode resitasi pada pokok bahasan Getaran, Gelombang dan Bunyi kelas VIII yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran direct instruction berbasis metode resitasi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasy eksperiment dengan desain penelitian pretest-postest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian berjumlah 181 peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 1 Adiluwih. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 butir soal. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah Independent sampel t-test. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran direct instruction berbasis metode resitasi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan data analisis yang diperoleh menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti signifikansi < 0,05 sehingga H1 diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran direct instruction berbasis metode resitasi pada pembelajaran IPA materi Getaran, Gelombang dan Bunyi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Model Pembelajaran Direct Instruction, Metode Resitasi iii ABSTRACT Research on the effect of the application of the direct instruction learning model based on the resitation method on the subject of Vibration, Waves and Sound class VIII which aims to determine the effect of the application of the direct instruction learning model based on the resitation method on student learning outcomes. The research method used is the quasy experiment method with the Pretest-Postest Control Group Design research design. The population in the study amounted to 181 students of class VIII SMPN 1 Adiluwih. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class VIII A as the experimental class and VIII B as the control class selected by random sampling technique. Data collection instruments in the form of multiple choice tests totaling 20 items. The hypothesis test used was independet sampel t-test. Based on the research that has been done, it is known that there is a significant effect of the direct instruction learning model based on the resitation method on student learning outcomes. With the analysis data obtained shows a significance value of 0.000 which means significance < 0.05 so that H1 is accepted. This proves that the direct instruction learning model based on the resitation method in learning science material on vibrations, waves and sound has an effect on student learning outcomes.
