Abstract

ABSTRAK EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN METODE TALKING STICK BERBANTU MEDIA QUESTION BOX TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM MATA PELAJARAN PAI DI SMK PRAJA UTAMA LAMPUNG TIMUR Oleh Evi Dwi Safitri Selama ini proses pembelajaran kita lihat masih menganut model pembelajaran konvensional, yaitu proses pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru seperti menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan selama itu pula kemampuan siswa untuk aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan kemandirian dalam belajar tidak akan tampak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan metode talking stick berbantu media question box terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran PAI di SMK Praja Utama Lampung Timur. Terdapat beberapa faktor rendahnya hasil belajar yakni siswa kurang terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, peneliti memilih metode talking stick berbantu media question box yang mana siswa berperan aktif selama proses pembelajaran. Adapun pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen Design). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain nonequevalent control group pretest-posttest design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh rata-rata dari kedua kelompok tersebut, dengan menggunakan kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode talking stick berbantu media question box sebesar 67,91. Pada kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan tanpa menggunakan metode talking stick berbantu media question box sebesar 58,93. Jadi terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara metode talking stick berbantu media question box dengan tanpa yang diajar menggunakan metode talking stick berbantu media question box terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran PAI di SMK Praja Utama Lampung Timur. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the talking stick method assisted by question box media on student learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SMK Praja Utama East Lampung. There are several factors for low learning outcomes, namely students are less actively involved in learning activities. To overcome this, the researcher chose the talking stick method assisted by question box media in which students play an active role during the learning process. This research approach is a quantitative approach. The type of research used is quasi-experimental (Quasi Experimental Design). This research uses a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the average of the two groups, using the experimental class taught using the talking stick method assisted by question box media, was 67.91. In the control class which was taught without using the talking stick method assisted by question box media, it was 58.93. So there is a significant difference between the talking stick method assisted by question box media and those without those taught using the talking stick method assisted by question box media on student learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SMK Praja Utama East Lampung.
