Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menjelaskan terkait tinjauan komperehensif terhadap 18 studi penelitian berupa penelitian kuantitatif, seperti quasi eksperimen, penelitian tindakan kelas dan penelitian kualitatif, seperti penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dari lima tahun terakhir tentang model blended project based learning. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan model blended project based learning, metode penelitian, mata pelajaran, dan jenjang pendidikan yang paling banyak menerapkan model ini, serta seberapa besar pengaruh model blended project based learning terhadap keterampilan abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui database google scholar, scopus dan ERIC selama lima tahun terakhir (2019-2023). Dari 18 studi penelitian ditemukan 7 jurnal yang membahas tahapan model blended project based learning yang dari waktu ke wktu memiliki sintaks yang hampir sama satu sama lain. Metode penelitian quasi eksperimen menjadi metode yang paling digemari peneliti dalam meneliti model ini. Mata pelajaran yang paling banyak menerapkan model ini adalah biologi, dan perguruan tinggi menjadi jenjang pendidikan yang paling banyak menerapkan model blended project based learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21. Literature yang ditinjau memberikan bukti kuat bahwa model blended project based learning dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21 peserta didik, dapat dilihat melalui hasil mean effect size keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 1,65. Mean effect size keterampilan berpikir kreatif 1,19 dan mean effect size keterampilan pemecahan masalah 1,44. Sehingga, mean effect size dari keterampilan abad ke-21 termasuk ke dalam kategori tinggi, yakni 1,42. Kata Kunci : Model Blended Project Based Learning, Keterampilan Abad Ke-21. iv ABSTRACT This research describes a comprehensive review of 18 research studies in the form of quantitative research, such as quasi experiments, classroom action research and qualitative research, such as descriptive qualitative research from the last five years on blended project based learning models. In addition, this study aims to find out the stages of the blended project based learning model, research methods, subjects, and education levels that apply this model has on 21st century skills. This research used a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection was obtained through google scholar, scopus, and ERIC databases for the last five years (2019-2023). From 18 research studies, 7 journals were found that discussed the stages of the blended project based learning model which from time to time had similar syntax to each other. The quasi experimental research method is the most favored method by researchers in researching this model. The subject that applies this model the most is biology, and higher education is the education level that applies the blended project based learning model to improve 21st century skills. The literature reviewed provides strong evidence that the blended project based learning model can significantly improve learners’ 21st century skills, as seen through the results of the mean effect size of critical thinking skills of 1,65. The mean effect size of creative thinking skills is 1,19 and the mean effect size of problem solving skills is 1,44. Thus, the mean effect size of 21st century skills is included in the high category is 1,42. Keywords : Model Blended Project Based Learning, 21st Century Skill.
