Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kemampuan peserta didik masih tergolong rendah yang dimana nilai pendidikan agama Islam masih belum mencapai KKM dan kurang nya fokus peserta didik saat belajar di kelas karena pembelajaran yang hanya satu arah. Perlunya metode yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode diskusi kelompok merupakan metode yang menghendaki peserta didik dan pendidik juga antar peserta didik terjadi interaksi dan saling bertukar pendapat atau informasi dalam memecahkan suatu masalah, sehingga peserta didik mampu mengembangkan materi dan peserta didik tidak merasa jenuh karena pembelajaran yang hanya satu arah. Dalam penlitian ini peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif yang dapat menggambarkan secara keseluruhan objek penelitian, teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik cluster random sampling dan non probality sampling, kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran diskusi kelompok, dan kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran study kasus. Peneliti menggunkan teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi, angket, dan tes esay yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data hasil belajar peserta didik hasilnya dapat dilihat dari rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen yang memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol, dengan nilai rata-rata hasil dari penilaian harian kelas eksperiment sebelum di terapkan metode diskusi kelompok sebesar 57,27 setelah diterapkan 81,11, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol yaitu 55,29 dan setelah diterapkan metode studi kasus 78,22. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji statistik regresi linier sederhana diperoleh nilai signifikasi > alpa 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu antara variabel x (metode diskusi kelompok) dengan y (hasil belajar) sebesar 92%. The group discussion method is a method that requires students and educators as well as interactions between students to occur and exchange opinions or information in solving a problem, so that students are able to develop material and students do not feel bored because learning is only one way. In this research, the researcher uses quantitative research using descriptive quantitative methods which can describe the overall object of research. The sampling technique in this study is cluster random sampling and non-probability sampling. Class XI IPS 1 is an experimental class using group discussion learning methods. , and class XI IPS 2 as the control class using the case study learning method. Researchers use data collection techniques with documentation, questionnaires, and essay tests that are used to determine student learning outcomes. Based on the results of data analysis of student learning outcomes, the results can be seen from the average student learning outcomes between the experimental class which has a higher score than the control class, with the average value of the results from the daily assessment of the experimental class before applying the group discussion method of 57 .27 after applying 81.11, while in the control class it was 55.29 and after applying the case study method 78.22. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using a simple linear regression statistical test, a significance value of > 0.05 was obtained, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence and a positive impact on student learning outcomes, namely between the variable x (group discussion method) and y (learning outcomes) equal to 92%.
