Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) Berbantuan Phet Simulation Terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Fisika Kelas XI SMA yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) berbantuan PhET Simulation terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Quasy Eksperiment dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian berjumlah 37 peserta didik kelas XI SMA Muhammadyah 1 kotaagung. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI.2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes soal yang berjumlah 20 butir soal dan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) berbantuan PhET Simulation berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Dengan data analisis yang diperoleh menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti signifikan < 0,05 sehingga H1 diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Penerapan model pembelajaran Argumen Driven Inquiry (ADI) berbantuan PhET Simulation berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Kata kunci : keterampilan proses sains, model pembelajaran Argunent Driven Inquiry (ADI) iii ABSTRACT Research on the effect of the application of the Argument Driven Inquiry (Adi) learning model assisted by Phet Simulation on the Science Process Skills of Students in Physics Class XI SMA which aims to determine the effect of the application of the Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation on the science process skills of students. The research method used was a Quasy Experiment method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in the study amounted to 37 students of class XI SMA Muhammadyah 1 Kotaagung. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI.1 as the experimental class and XI.2 as the control class selected by saturated sampling technique. Data collection instruments in the form of test questions totaling 20 items and observation sheets of science process skills. Based on the research that has been done, it is known that the application of the Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation affects the science process skills of students. With the analysis data obtained shows a significance value of 0.000 which means significant <0.05 so that H1 is accepted. This proves that the application of Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation affects the science process skills of students.
