Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih rendahnya sikap toleransi peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 3 Tulang Bawang Tengah pada mata pelajararan PKN. Dalam proses pembelajarannya pendidik sudah menerapkan model pembelajaran ketika mengajar tetapi hasilnya belum maksimal, hal tersebut terjadi karena saat proses pembelajaran peserta didik kurang timbal balik kepada pendidik dikarenakan berfokus pada buku dan papan tulis. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut peneliti mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) pada kelas IV dalam proses pembelajarannya, sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Contextual Teaching and Learning dalam meningkatkan sikap toleransi pada mata pelajaran PKN kelas IV UPT SDN 3 Tulang bawang Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan bentuk Non Equivalent Control Grup Design. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik purpositve sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji N-Gain dan uji hipotesis. Hasil peneliian ini menunjukan bahwa hasil uji hipotesis dengan meggunakan uji-t independent toleransi pada mata pelajaran PKN antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai taraf signifikan (2 tailed) < 0,005 yaitu 0,000, ysang mana artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan adanya perbedaan toleransi peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh model Contextual Teaching And Learning dalam meningkatkan sikap toleransi pada pembelajaran PKN kelas IV di UPT SDN 3 Tulang Bawang Tengah. Kata Kunci: Model Contextual Teaching And Learning, Toleransi. iv ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low tolerance of fourth grade students at SDN 3 Tulang Bawang Tengah in PKN subjects. In the learning process, the teacher has implemented a learning model during the learning process but the results are not optimal, this happens because during the learning process the students lack reciprocity to the teacher because they focus on books and blackboards. To overcome this problem the researcher tries to apply the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model in class IV in the learning process, so the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in increasing tolerance in PKN subject class IV Tulang Bawang Tengah. This research is a quantitative research. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental Design with the form of Non Equivalent Control Grup Design The sampling technique in this research is using purpositive sampling technique. This study used questionnaire data collection techniques and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test , normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, and N-Gain test. The results of this study show that the results of testing the hypothesis by using the independent tolerance t-test in PKN subjects between the experimental class and the control class obtained a significant level value (2 tailed) <0.005, which is 0.000, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there were differences in student tolerance between the experimental class and the control class. This shows that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in increasing tolerance in class IV PKN learning at UPT SDN 3 Tulang Bawang Tengah.
