Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini di latar belakangi adanya faktor rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik serta peserta didik tidak aktif dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas X Materi Hukum Newton. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif tipe Quasi Eksperimen yang menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dimana kelas eksperimen menggunakan model Flipped Classroom sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol menggunakan model kooperatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Jatiagung yang berjumlah 160 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Cluster Random Sampling sehingga bisa terpilih dua kelas yang dijadikan sampel yaitu kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah masing-masing kelas adalah 30 peserta didik. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh data yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil signifikan yang diperoleh sebesar 0,000, dimana sig<0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Kata Kunci : Flipped Classroom, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif iv ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low ability of students to think creatively and students are not active in the learning process in class. The research objective was to determine the effect of the Flipped Classroom learning model on the creative thinking skills of class X students on Newton's Law material. This type of research is a Quasi�Experimental quantitative type that uses two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, where the experimental class uses the Flipped Classroom model while the control class uses the cooperative model. The population in this study were all students of class X Science at SMA Negeri 1 Jatiagung totaling 160 students. The sampling technique used was Cluster Random Sampling so that two classes could be selected as samples, namely class X IPA 1 as the control class and class X IPA 3 as the experimental class with the number of each class being 30 students. Based on the research that has been done, data shows that there is an influence of the Flipped Classroom learning model on students' creative thinking abilities. This is shown from the significant results obtained at 0.000, where sig <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the Flipped Classroom learning model influences students' creative thinking abilities. Keyword: Creative Thinking Ability, Flipped Classroom
