Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan model pembelajaran RICOSRE berbasis Socioscientific Issues dengan Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan kolaborasi peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 01 Tanjung Raya, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA dengan sampel XI MIPA 2 dan XI MIPA 3. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan purposive random sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrumen tes dan non-tes, tes berupa soal essay untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan non-tes berupa angket untuk mengukur kemampuan kolaborasi. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Multivariate of Variance (MANOVA). Hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama didapatkan hasil 0,030 < 0,05 maka H1 diterima, hasil kedua 0,001 < 0,05 maka H1 diterima dan hasil ketiga didapatkan 0,000 < 0,05 maka H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbandingan model pembelajaran RICOSRE berbasis Socioscientific Issues dengan Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, 2) Terdapat perbandingan model pembelajaran RICOSRE berbasis Socioscientific Issues dengan Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan kolaborasi, 3) Terdapat perbandingan model pembelajaran RICOSRE berbasis Socioscientific Issues dengan Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan kolaborasi.
