Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya tingkat computational thinking skills peserta didik menjadi permasalahan keterampilan abad ke-21. Salah satu upaya untuk mendukung pendidikan abad ke-21 dengan menerapkan model Project based learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis project based learning terhadap computational thinking skills peserta didik kelas XI IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MA Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA dengan sampel kelas XI IPA 1 (kelas eksperimen) dan XI IPA 2 (kelas kontrol). Menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dengan desain Quasi Experimental Research. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai uji t-tes dengan taraf signifikan 5% terdapat pengaruh model project based learning terhadap computational thinking skills peserta didik kelas XI IPA dengan nilai sig <0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,000 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Oleh karena itu kemampuan berpikir komputasional dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah dalam pembelajaran fisika dengan menerapkan indikator dekomposisi, abstraksi, algoritma dan generalisasi pola. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran IPA, Project Based Learning, Computational Thinking Skills iii ABSTRACT The low level of students' computational thinking skills is a problem for 21st-century skills. One of the efforts to support 21st�century education is implementing a Project-based learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of applying a project-based learning model on students' computational thinking skills in class XI IPA. This research was conducted at MA Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The population in this study was class XI IPA with samples from class XI IPA 1 (experimental class) and XI IPA 2 (control class). She was using a saturated sampling technique with a Quasi�Experimental Research design. The results of this study indicate that the t-test score with a significant level of 5% has the effect of the project-based learning model on the computational thinking skills of students in class XI IPA with a sig value <0.05, which is equal to 0.000, so H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. Therefore computational thinking skills can be used to solve problems in learning physics by applying decomposition, abstraction, algorithms and pattern generalization indicators.
