Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan di Indonesia tentang siswa gifted and talented adalah kurikulum pendidikan di Indonesia tidak cukup fleksibel untuk anak berbakat. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini menganalisis karakteristik siswa berbakat pada anak usia dini guna untuk menciptakan kurikulum yang cukup fleksibel di Indonesia. Karena jika sudah mengetahui karakteristik siswa berbakat, kurikulum pendidikan tentang siswa berbakat akan fleksibel. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis karakteristik siswa gifted and talented pada anak usia dini. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif (Bibliometrik) serta Systematic Literature Review(SLR). Model Interaktif Analisis Milles & Hubberman dengan Perangkat Lunak NVIVO 12.0 digunakan sebagai cara untuk menganalisis data, data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdapat 32 artikel bereputasi internasional dan nasional serta 4 buku akademik. Hasil temuan menunjukan bahwa terdapat sembilan karakteristik siswa gifted and talented pada anak usia dini, yaitu (1)Kemampuan diatas rata-rata (2)Komitmen Terhadap Tugas (3)Dewasa Lebih Dini (4) Kreativitas (5) Mandiri (6) Perfeksionis (7) Bertanggung Jawab dan Mudah Berdaptasi (8) Humoris dan Konsisten (9) Belajar menurut kemuannya sendiri. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu cara untuk menganilis karakteristik siswa gifted and talented pada anak usia dini. Jadi dapat disimpulkan Siswa Gifted and Talented memiliki kecerdasan lebih tinggi dan belajar lebih cepat dari yang lain, karena mengalami lintasan perkembangan saraf yang berbeda dari anak normal. Anak berbakat berbeda dengan anak normal dalam berbagai aspek, antara lain keterampilan efektif, keterkampilan kognitif, ketermpilan sosial, kemauan belajar, ketersampilan linguistik, keterampil kepribadian, dan keterampilus mental. Anak-anak ini memilih kata-kata mereka dengan hati-hati dan sering menggunakannya, memulai kontak verbal lebih awal dan memiliki kosakata yang jauh melampaui usia mereka. Anak ini disebut sebagai "dewasa sebelum waktunya" dalam bahasa mereka. Kata Kunci : Siswa Berbakat, Karakteristik Siswa Berbakat iii ABSTRACK The problem in Indonesia regarding gifted and talented students is that the education curriculum in Indonesia is not flexible enough for gifted children. Therefore this study analyzes the characteristics of gifted students in early childhood in order to create a curriculum that is quite flexible in Indonesia. Because if you already know the characteristics of gifted students, the educational curriculum for gifted students will be flexible. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of gifted and talented students in early childhood. The research method used is qualitative (Bibliometric) and Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The Milles & Hubberman Analysis Interactive Model with NVIVO 12.0 Software was used as a way to analyze the data, the data used in this study contained 32 articles of international and national reputation and 4 academic books. The findings show that there are nine characteristics of gifted and talented students in early childhood, namely (1) Ability above average (2) Commitment to Tasks (3) Early Mature (4) Creativity (5) Independent (6) Perfectionist ( 7) Responsible and Adaptable (8) Humorous and Consistent (9) Learn at their own pace. The results of this study can be used as a way to analyze the characteristics of gifted and talented students in early childhood. So it can be concluded that Gifted and Talented Students have higher intelligence and learn faster than others, because they experience a different neurodevelopmental trajectory than normal children. Gifted children differ from normal children in various aspects, including effective skills, cognitive skills, social skills, willingness to learn, linguistic skills, personality skills, and mental skills. These children choose their words carefully and use them frequently, initiate verbal contact early and have a vocabulary far beyond their years.
