Abstract

ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) berbasis motivation, engagement, dan interaction untuk pembelajaran fisika kelas XI SMA/MA. Kajian bibliometrik telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui kebaruan penelitan dan pengembangan MOOCs di seluruh dunia. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penelitian dan pengembangan MOOCs yang berhubungan dengan motivation, engagement, dan interaction masih sangat sedikit, hal ini ditunjukkan dari pemetaan kata kunci MOOCs dengan kata kunci motivation, engagement, dan interaction berada sangat jauh. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan media pembelajaran MOOCs, mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan kemenarikan media pembelajaran MOOCs. Instrumen uji kelayakan diberikan kepada validator ahli materi dan ahli media, instrumen uji kepraktisan diberikan kepada tiga guru fisika di tiga sekolah, dan instrumen uji kemenarikan diberikan kepada siswa kelas XI di tiga sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 01 Katibung Lampung Selatan, SMAN 09 Bandar Lampung, dan SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan metode 3D-E (Decide, Design, Development, and Evaluation). Hasil penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran MOOCs dinyatakan sangat layak oleh enam validator dengan persentase 84,3% untuk kelayakan materi MOOCs dan 86,2% untuk kelayakan media MOOCs. Selain itu media pembelajaran MOOCs juga dinyatakan sangat praktis dan menarik dengan presentase 90% untuk uji kepraktisan dan 79% untuk uji kemenarikan. Kata Kunci: MOOCs, Massive Open Online Courses, Motivation, Engagement, Interaction iv ABSTRACT Research on the development of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) learning media based on motivation, engagement, and interaction has been carried out for physics learning in class XI SMA/MA.Bibliometric studies have been carried out to determine the novelty of research and development of MOOCs around the world. The results show that there is still very little research and development on MOOCs related to motivation, engagement, and interaction. This is shown from the mapping of the MOOCs keywords with the keywords motivation, engagement, and interaction, which are very far away. The purpose of this development research is to find out how MOOCs learning media are developed, to find out the feasibility, practicality, and attractiveness of MOOCs learning media. Feasibility test instruments were given to material expert validators and media experts, practicality test instruments were given to three physics teachers in three schools, and attractiveness test instruments were given to class XI students in three schools. This research was conducted at SMAN 01 Katibung South Lampung, SMAN 09 Bandar Lampung, and SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 3D-E (Decide, Design, Development, and Evaluation) method. The results of research on the development of MOOCs learning media were declared very feasible by six validators with a percentage of 84.3% for the feasibility of MOOCs material and 86.2% for the feasibility of MOOCs media. In addition, the MOOCs learning media were also stated to be very practical and interesting with a percentage of 90% for the practicality test and 79% for the attractiveness test.
