Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengelolaan dana beasiswa bidikmisi yang diterima oleh mahasiswa fakultas ekonomi dan bisnis islam UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Jika dilihat dari pendidikannya, seharusnya mereka dapat mengontrol diri dan mengelola keuangannya dengan baik. Namun faktanya, mereka tidak dapat mengelola dana bidikmisi tersebut sehingga terpakai untuk membeli barang yang mereka inginkan bukan yang mereka butuhkan ataupun uang tersebut terpakai oleh keluarganya untuk keperluan keluarga yang sedang mendesak. Sehingga ketika waktunya pembayaran UKT mereka kehabisan uang atau uang dana beasiswa tersebut kurang sehingga mereka memerlukan uang tambahan dari orangtuanya. Rumusan masalah dan tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh locus of control dan financial knowledge terhadap financial behavior. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Islam UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang mana data tersebut diperoleh melalui bantuan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Kuesioner tersebut dibagikan kepada 82 responden dengan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian locus of control berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap financial behavior dan financial knowledge berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial behavior. Dalam perspektif ekonomi islam menegaskan agar mahasiswa untuk senantiasa mengatur dan membelanjakan uang secara tepat, efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, Islam sangat melarang untuk berperilaku buruk terhadap harta dengan menghambur-hamburkan uang dan boros. Membuktikan bahwa Mahasiswa Penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi belum sadar akan pentingnya pengontrolan diri terhadap perilaku keuangan. Kata Kunci : Locus Of Control, Financial Knowledge, Financial Behavior ABSTRACT Management of Bidikmisi scholarship funds received by students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. When viewed from their education, they should be able to control themselves and manage their finances well. But in fact, they cannot manage the bidikmisi funds so that they are used to buy things they want instead of what they need or the money is used by their families for urgent family needs. So when the UKT payment is on time they run out of money or the scholarship funds are lacking so they need additional money from their parents. The formulation of problems and objectives in this study is to see the effect of locus of control and financial knowledge on financial behavior. The research method used in this study is the Quantitative Method. The population used in this study were Bidikmisi Scholarship Recipients, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN Raden Intan Lampung, the type of data used in this study was primary data in which the data was obtained through the assistance of a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed to 82 respondents using simple random sampling technique. The results of the study locus of control has a positive and insignificant effect on financial behavior and financial knowledge has a positive and significant effect on financial behavior. In the perspective of Islamic economics emphasizes that students always manage and spend money appropriately, effectively and efficiently. In addition, Islam strictly prohibits bad behavior towards property by wasting money and being extravagant. Proves that Bidikmisi Scholarship Recipient Students are not aware of the importance of self-control over financial behavior. Keywords : Locus Of Control, Financial Knowledge, Financial Behavior
