Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SKIMMING, MIND MAPPING, QUESTIONING, EXSPLORING, WRITING, COMUNICATING (SIMAS ERIC) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN KOMUNIKASI PESERTA DIDIK Oleh Siti Rohana Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Skiming, Mind Mapping, Questioning, Exsploring, Writing, Communicating (Simas Eric), terhadap Kemampuan Berpiikir Krritis dan Komunikasi Peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen (quasy experimental research) dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalen Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MA Al-Furqon Lampung Barat, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan sampel kelas XA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XB sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen angket untuk mendapatkan data dari kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik, tes berupa soal essay untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji-t (t-test). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pada variable kemamuan berpikir kritis thitung > ttabel sebesar 3,308 > 1,006 dan pada variable komunikasi thitung > ttabel sebesar 2,463 > 2,006 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Skiming, Mind Mapping, Questioning, Exsploring, Writing, Communicating (Simas Eric) terhadap Kemampuan Berpiikir Kritis dan Komunikasi Peserta didik. Kata kunci : Model Pembelajaran Skiming, Mind Mapping, Questioning, Exsploring, Writing, Communicating (Simas Eric), Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis, komunikasi. iii ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF SKIMMING, MIND MAPPING, QUESTIONING, EXSPLORING, WRITING, COMMUNICATING (SIMAS ERIC) LEARNING MODELS ON STUDENTS' CRITICAL THINKING AND COMMUNICATION ABILITY By Siti Rohana This study aims to examine the Effect of Skimming, Mind Mapping, Questioning, Exploring, Writing, Communicating (Simas Eric) Learning Models on Students' Critical Thinking and Communication Skills. The research method used was quasi-experimental research with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was conducted at MA Al-Furqon West Lampung, the population in this study were all students of class X. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with class XA as the experimental class and class XB as the control class. The instrument used is a questionnaire instrument to obtain data from students' communication skills, tests in the form of essay questions to measure students' critical thinking skills. Test the research hypothesis using the t-test (t-test). The results of the hypothesis test show that the critical thinking ability variable tcount > ttable is 3.308 > 1.006 and for the communication variable tcount > ttable is 2.463 > 2.006 with a significant level of 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the Skimming, Mind learning model Mapping, Questioning, Exploring, Writing, Communicating (Simas Eric) on Students' Critical Thinking and Communication Skills.
