Abstract

ABSTRAK Buku dapat mengembangkan kemampuan anak usia dini dalam berimajinasi, berprilaku serta berfikir. Namun tidak semua buku menarik perhatian anak dan sesuai untuk perkembangan anak. Buku bergambar merupakan buku yang disenangi anak usia dini. Menurut para ahli buku bergambar yang sesuai dengan anak usia dini untuk perkembangannya yaitu buku yang sesuai dengan konteks dan ilustrasi. Menurut Bunanta kesesuaian konteks dan ilustrasi pada buku anak yiatu pesan yang sesuai dengan usia anak, karakter tokoh sesuai usia anak, penggambaran tempat dan waktu relevan dengan kehidupan anak, tokoh cerita memberi contoh karakter positif, dan gambar memberi contoh perilaku kebaikan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini sendiri yaitu agar mengetahui buku yang sesuai konteks dan ilustrasi pada buku anak usia dini. Sedangkan untuk penelitiannya metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian study pustaka (library reseach). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis buku teks yang menggunakan sumber tertulis. Hasil penelitian yang di lakukan penulis tentang analisis kesesuain konteks dan ilustrasi pada buku cerita bergambar untuk dengan tema binatang untuk anak usia dini yaitu Dari keempat buku diatas hanya empat indikator yang terpenuhi yaitu cerita yang memiliki makna yang mudah dimengerti, Cerita dipertegas dengan gambar yang berwarna menarik, Membangkitkan situasi emosional anak, dan juga tokoh sesuai usia anak. Untuk indikator ragam bahasa anak belum terpenuhi karena buku memiliki banyak kata pada setiap lembarnya sehingga buku ini belum sesuai untuk anak usia dini. But not all books attract children's attention and are in accordance with child development. Picture books are books that are loved by young children. According to picture book experts that are suitable for early childhood for their development, namely books that are appropriate to the context and illustrations. According to Bunanta according to the context and illustrations in children's books, namely messages that are appropriate to the child's age, character traits according to the child's age, depictions of places and times that are relevant to the child's life, story characters provide examples of positive characters, and pictures provide examples of good behavior. The purpose of this research itself is to find books that are appropriate to the context and illustrations in early childhood books.As for the research method used, namely the library research method. The method used is a textbook analysis method that uses written sources. The results of the research conducted by the author regarding the analysis of context suitability and illustrations in picture story books for animal themes for early childhood, namely from the four books above, only four indicators fulfilled, namely stories that had meanings that were easy to understand, stories emphasized with attractive colorful pictures, arousing the child's emotional situation, and also the age-appropriate character. The indicator for the variety of children's language has not been fulfilled because the book has many words on each sheet so this book is not suitable for early childhood.
