Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how much the Cooperative learning model of the Think Pair Share type contributes to student learning outcomes in physics learning based on category, level of education and contribution by region. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method with group contrast meta-analysis research. The instrument of this research is data coding. The results showed that the effect size of the Think Pair Share Cooperative learning model based on the overall category was 1,080 including the large category. The results showed that high school obtained an average effect size of 1,175. The results of the study show that the island of Java has an average effect size of 2,526. The conclusion of this study is the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model for learning outcomes contributes greatly to education in Indonesia.
