Abstract

ABSTRAK Keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki oleh calon guru termasuk calon guru fisika. Melalui keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah yang baik, guru dapat menyampaikan meteri pembelajaran secara jelas dengan tidak membuat kata menjadi bermakna ganda sehingga menimbulkan kesalahpahaman. Keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah juga menjadi salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh dalam proses belajar dan mengajar. Jika keterampilan komunikas ilmiah yang dimiliki baik maka proses belajar mengajar akan berjalan dengan baik pula. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah yang dimiliki calon guru fisika Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung dengan berdasarkan aspek kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian berupa survey kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah calon guru fisika Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung angkatan tahun 2018 dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 75 calon guru. Guna memperoleh data yang diperlukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner/angket yang dibagikan dalam bentuk google formulir. Berdasarkan hasi ini menunjukan bahwa keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah calon guru terklasifikasi dalam dua kategori yakni 49%dalam kategori “Intermediate” dan 51% dalam kategori “Advanced”, sedangkan untuk kemampuan kognitif yang dimiliki setiap calon guru terbagi dalam dua kategori yakni 48% dalam kategori “Tinggi” dan 52% dalam kategori “Sangat Tinggi”. Ini menggambarkan calon guru yang memiliki kemampuan kognitif tinggi juga memiliki keterampilan komunikasi ilmiah yang tinggi. Through good scientific communication skills, teachers can convey learning materials clearly without making words have multiple meanings, causing misunderstandings. Scientific communication skills are also one of the influential factors in the teaching and learning process. If you have good scientific communication skills, the teaching and learning process will run well too. The purpose of this study is to describe the scientific communication skills possessed by prospective physics teachers at Raden Intan State Islamic University Lampung based on cognitive aspects. This study uses quantitative research methods and the type of research is a quantitative survey. The population used in this study was prospective physics teacher at Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University class of 2018 with a total population of 75 prospective teachers. In order to obtain the data needed in this study, an instrument in the form of a questionnaire/questionnaire was distributed in the form of a google form. Based on these results, it shows that the scientific communication skills of prospective teachers are classified into two categories, namely 49% in the "Intermediate" category and 51% in the "Advanced" category, while the cognitive abilities of each prospective teacher are divided into two categories, namely 48% in the " High” and 52% in the “Very High” category.
