Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran blended learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik, terdapat pengaruh self confidence (tinggi, sedang, rendah) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik, dan terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran blended learning dan self confidence (tinggi, sedang, rendah) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kalianda pada suhu dan kalor. Masalah yang akan diteliti yaitu tentang model pembelajaran Blended Learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep ditinjau dari Self Confidence Peserta didik Peneliti ini menggunakan Quasy experiment menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol tanpa pretest (randomized control group only posttest design). Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu berjumlah 180 peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kalianda. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Instrument pengumpulan data berupa tes essay kemampuan pemahaman konsep, angket self confidence, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran blended learning. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh data yang menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran blended learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep, (2) terdapat pengaruh self confidence terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep, (3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran blended learning dan self confidence terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Kata kunci : Model Blended Learning, Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep, Self Confidence iv ABSTRAK This reseacrh aims to provide the effect of the blended learning model on Students' conceptual understanding ability, there was an influence of self confidence (High, Mid, low) towards Students' ability in understanding concept, and there is interaction between blended learning model and self confidence ( High, Mid, Low) towards Students' conceptual understanding ability at eleventh grade of SMA N 1 Kalianda pada temperature and heat. The research will be carried out is the problem of blended learning model on Students' conceptual understanding ability reviewed by Self-confidence of the students. The researcher used “quasy experiment”. It used to control group without prettest (randomized control group only prettest design). The population of this research are 180 students from eleventh grade of science class of SMA N 1 Kalianda. The sample of this research are consist of two classes. There are experiment class from eleventh grade of science class 1 and eleventh grade of science class 2, that will choosen for”cluster random sampling technique”. Data collecting instrument are cansist of essay about concept understanding ability, self confident quisioner, and the observation sheet of blended learning. Based on the research that has been done, data shows that 1. There was an influence of the blended learning model on students' concept understanding ability. 2. There was an influence of self�confidence (high, medium, low) on students' concept understanding ability. If self-confidence is high, the concept of understanding ability will also be high. 3. There was an interaction between the blended learning model and self-confidence (high, medium, low) on the concept understanding ability.
