Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF USING CANVA TOWARDS STUDENTS’ WRITING ANNOUNCEMENT TEXT ABILITY AT THE TENNTH GRADE OF SMA NEGERI 1 BUNGAMAYANG, LAMPUNG UTARA IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2021/2022 By: ZAINIDA AMRINA YUSUP The major objective of this researcher was to know whether there was a significant influence of using canva towards students’ writing announcement text ability at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Bungamayang, Lampung Utara in the Academic Year of 2021/2022. Canva application was a digital practical technology, it is a nice tool for designing infographics, collages, flyers, and slides in a web browser or on your phone. This media introduced how to make announcement text correctly and interested. In this research, the writer used quasi experimental design with the treatment held in three meetings. The population of this research was the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Bungamayang, Lampung Utara. The sample of this research were two classes consists of 35 students in experimental class and 30 students in control class. In collecting the data, the writer used instrument in the form of writing test. The instrument of this research were pre-test and post-test. After giving the post-test, the writer analyzed the data by using SPSS. After doing the post-test, the researcher analyzed the data obtained from both pre-test and post-test. The result of the data analysis showed that Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 and ɑ = 0.05 and it means H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Baseid on reisult abovei, thei writeir concludeid that theirei was a significant influeincei of using canva towards studeints’ writing announcement teixt ability at the tenth gradei of SMA Neigeiri 1 Bungamayang, Lampung Utara in thei acadeimic yeiar of 2021/2022.
