Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, And Satisfaction) berbantu media infografis terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas 10 SMA di SMAN 1 Baradatu pada pokok bahasan usaha dan energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitian quasy eksperiment, dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Baradatu dengan peserta didik kelas X MIPA sebagai populasi penelitian. Berdasarkan populasi tersebut, dipilih X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 2 sebagai sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes uraian yang berjumlah 10 butir soal. Beradasarkan data yang diperoleh diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, And Satisfaction) berbantu media infografis terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Sementara itu, analisis data menunjukkan sig sebesar 0,000 yang berarti sig < 0,05 sehingga H1 diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, And Satisfaction) berbantu media infografis terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik Kata Kunci: Kemampuan berpikir kritis, Media infografis, Model pembelajaran ARCS. iii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the ARCS learning model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, And Satisfaction) assisted by infographic media on the critical thinking skills of 10th grade high school students at SMAN 1 Baradatu on the subject of business and energy. This study uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is quasi-experimental, with a nonequivalent control group design research design. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Baradatu with students of class X MIPA as the research population. Based on this population, X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 2 were selected as research samples using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection instrument was in the form of a description test, which consisted of 10 questions. Based on the data obtained, it is known that there is a significant effect of the ARCS learning model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, And Satisfaction) assisted by infographic media on students' critical thinking skills. Meanwhile, data analysis shows a sig of 0.000 which means sig <0.05 so that H1 is accepted. This proves that there is an influence of the ARCS learning model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, And Satisfaction) assisted by infographic media on the critical thinking skills of English students.
