Abstract

ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan E-Modul berbasis discovery learning dengan menggunakan software Flip PDF Professional pada materi Hukum Newton yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan E-Modul, mengetahui kelayakan E-Modul dan mengetahui respon pendidik serta peserta didik terhadap E-Modul yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadopsi model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa lembar wawancara, angket analisis kebutuhan, lembar validasi, angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengembangan E-Modul berbasis discovery learning dengan menggunakan software Flip PDF Professional pada materi Hukum Newton penilaian dari ahli materi dan ahli media memperoleh kategori sangat layak dengan persentase validasi ahli materi 88%, dan ahli media sebesar 86%. Sedangkan respon dari pendidik dan peserta didik memberikan respon positif terhadap kelayakan dan kemenarikan E-Modul dengan respon pendidik sebesar 93%, uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh persentase sebesar 94% dan uji coba lapangan memperoleh nilai 94% sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa E-Modul berbasis discovery learning dengan menggunakan software Flip PDF Professional pada materi Hukum Newton sangat layak dan sangat menarik untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, E-Modul, Flip PDF Professional, Hukum Newton iii ABSTRACT Discovery learning based E-Modul development research has been carried out using Flip PDF Professional software on Newton's Law material which the purpose to know the E-Module development process, the feasibility of E-Modules and the response of educators and students to the E-Modules developed. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D) by adopting the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The instruments used are in the form of interview sheets, needs analysis questionnaires, validation sheets, questionnaires for teacher and student responses. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the development of E-Modules was based on discovery learning using Flip PDF Professional software on Newton's Law material. Based on the assessments of material experts and media experts, the category was very feasible with the validation percentage of material experts 88%, and media experts at 86%. While the responses from educators and students gave a positive response to the feasibility and attractiveness of the E-Modul with an educator response of 93%, small group trials obtained a percentage of 94% and field trials obtained a value of 94% it can be concluded that E-Module based on discovery learning using Flip PDF Professional software on Newton's Law material is very feasible and very interesting to use in the learning process.
