Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas model pembelajaran ARIAS terhadap self efficacy dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran fisika di SMP Al-Huda Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. Untuk mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik dilakukan tes dengan soal pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 soal pada materi Getaran, Gelombang dan Bunyi. Untuk mengukur self efficacy peserta didik dilakukan uji dengan menggunakan angket berupa pertanyaan sebanyak 21. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasy Experiment dengan desain Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Al-Huda Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini kelas VIII A.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII A.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, data yang diperoleh pada hasil belajar terdistribusi secara normal dan bersifat homogen, kemudian dilanjutkan uji hipotesis One Way Anova menunjukkan taraf signifikan 0,020 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kemudian, pada data angket self efficacy terdistribusi secara normal dan bersifat homogen, uji hipotesis didapatkan hasil signifikan 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil uji hipotesis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar dan self efficacy peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran ARIAS terdapat perbedaan. Berdasarkan hasil uji effect size yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran ARIAS efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan self efficacy peserta didik. Kata kunci : Model pembelajaran Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assesment, And, Satisfaction (ARIAS), hasil belajar, dan self efficacy. iii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ARIAS learning model on self-efficacy and student learning outcomes in physics learning at SMP Al-Huda Jati Agung, South Lampung. To measure student learning outcomes, a test with multiple choice questions totaled 20 questions on Vibration, Wave and Sound material. To measure self-efficacy of students, a test was conducted using a questionnaire in the form of 21 questions. The type of research carried out in this study was a Quasy Experiment with a Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Al-Huda Jati Agung, South Lampung. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. In this study, class VIII A.1 as the experimental class and class VIII A.2 as the control class. Based on the results of the calculation of the normality test and homogeneity test, the data obtained on the learning outcomes were normally distributed and homogeneous, then continued with the One Way Anova showing a significant level of 0.020 <0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Then, on the self-efficacy that is normally distributed and homogeneous, hypothesis testing shows significant results 0.000 <0.05, which indicates that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that there are differences in learning outcomes and self-efficacy before and after using the ARIAS learning model. Based on the results of the effect size , it can be concluded that the use of the ARIAS learning model is effective for improving student learning outcomes and self-efficacy .
