Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ICARE terhadap computational thinking skills peserta didik yang ditinjau dari perbedaan gender. Metode yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIPA dengan sampel X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 3. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan cluster random sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrumen tes berupa soal essay untuk mengukur computational thinking skills. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji anova dua jalan dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama didapatkan hasil 0,000<0,05 maka H1 diterima, hasil kedua 0,628 > 0,05 maka H0 diterima dan hasil ketiga didapatkan 0,320>0,05 maka H0 diterima. berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran ICARE terhadap computational thinking skills, 2) Tidak terdapat pengaruh perbedaan gender terhadap computational thinking skills. 3) Tidak ada interaksi model pembelajaran ICARE dan perbedaan gender terhadap computational thinking skills. Kata Kunci: Computational Thinking Skills, Gender, Model Pembelajaran ICARE. iii ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the ICARE learning model on students' computational thinking skills in terms of gender differences. The method used is quasi-experimental. The population in this study was class X MIPA with a sample of X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 3. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The instrument in this research is a test instrument in the form of essay questions to measure computational thinking skills. Hypothesis testing uses a two�way ANOVA test with a 2x2 factorial design. The results of testing the first hypothesis are 0.000 <0.05, then H1 is accepted, the second result is 0.628 > 0.05, then H0 is accepted and the third result is 0.320>0.05, then H0 is accepted. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that: 1) There is an effect of the ICARE learning model on computational thinking skills, 2) There is no effect of gender differences on computational thinking skills. 3) There is no interaction between the ICARE learning model and gender differences on computational thinking skills.
