Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya strategi komunikasi dalam pembinaan moral mahasiswa di era digital, khususnya melalui program asrama Bright Scholarship oleh Yayasan Baitul Maal (YBM) BRILiaN Regional Office Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh kepala asrama dalam meningkatkan religiusitas mahasantri, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dihadapi dalam proses pembinaan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi lapangan (field research). Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara bersama pengelola, pembina, dan mahasantri Batch 9, serta diperkuat dengan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala asrama menerapkan strategi komunikasi dua arah yang persuasif dan humanis dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip komunikasi Qur‟ani (Qaulan Sadidan, Layyinan, Ma‟rufa, dan Baligha). Strategi ini diimplementasikan melalui tahapan transformasi, transaksi, dan transinternalisasi nilai keagamaan yang diperkuat dengan metode keteladanan (dakwah bil hal). Pendekatan ini berhasil meningkatkan lima dimensi religiusitas mahasantri, yang meliputi aspek ritualistik, ideologis, intelektual, eksperiensial, hingga konsekuensial (akhlak sosial). Adapun faktor penghambat utama dalam pembinaan ini adalah kepadatan jadwal akademik kuliah mahasantri serta tingginya distraksi negatif di era digital. ABSTRACT This study is motivated by the importance of communication strategies in fostering the moral development of university students in the digital era, specifically through the Bright Scholarship dormitory program managed by the Baitul Maal (YBM) BRILiaN Foundation, Bandar Lampung Regional Office. The study aims to examine the communication strategies employed by the dormitory head to enhance the religiosity of the resident students (mahasantri) and to identify the obstacles encountered during this developmental process. A descriptive qualitative approach based on field research was utilized. Data were collected through interviews with administrators, mentors, and Batch 9 students, and supplemented by observation and documentation. Data analysis involved the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the dormitory head employs a persuasive and humanistic two-way communication strategy by integrating Quranic communication principles (Qaulan Sadidan, Layyinan, Ma‟rufa, and Baligha). This strategy is implemented through stages of transformation, transaction, and the trans-internalization of religious values, reinforced by the method of leading by example (dakwah bil hal). This approach successfully enhanced five dimensions of the students' religiosity: ritualistic, ideological, intellectual, experiential, and consequential (social ethics). The primary obstacles identified in this process were the students' demanding academic schedules and significant negative distractions associated with the digital era.
