Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor kognitif, tetapi juga oleh aspek sosial-emosional dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang mendukung keterlibatan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) berpendekatan sosial-emosional berbantuan Augmented Reality terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen design menggunakan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas V C sebagai kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan pembelajaran sosial emosional berbantuan media Augmented Reality dan kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaranlangsung (Direct Intruction) dan media visual. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan jenis purposive samplingsd n. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda beralasan yang diberikan dalam bentuk pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan sosial emosional berbantuan media Augmented Reality terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui hasil uji hipotesis yang memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan sosial emosional berbantuan media Augmented Reality berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas V SD N 5 Jatimulyo Lampung Selatan dan memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung (Direct Intruction) dan media visual. ABSTRACT Students’ low understanding of mathematical concepts is influenced not only by cognitive factors but also by social-emotional aspects and the use of learning media that support engagement in learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model using a social emotional approach supported by Augmented Reality on elementary school students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. The research method used was a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design employing a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of two classes: Class V C, the experimental class, which received instruction using the STAD cooperative learning model with a social-emotional learning approach supported by Augmented Reality media; and Class V B, the control class, which received instruction using the Direct Instruction model and visual media. The sampling technique used was non probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling. The research instrument consisted of a reasoned multiple-choice test administered as a pretest and posttest to measure students’ mathematical concept comprehension. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model with a social-emotional approach supported by Augmented Reality media has a significant effect on students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. This was demonstrated by the results of the hypothesis test, which yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; therefore, H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the STAD cooperative learning model with a social-emotional approach aided by Augmented Reality has an effect on the mathematical concept understanding of fifth-grade students at SD N 5 Jatimulyo, South Lampung, and yields better results compared to the direct instruction model and visual media.
