Abstract

ABSTRAK HUBUNGAN ANTARA SELF-COMPASSION DENGAN QUARTER LIFE CRISIS PADA NARAPIDANA LEMBAGA PERMASYARATAN KELAS I BANDAR LAMPUNG Oleh: Vhina Ifa Aprisari Dewasa awal merupakan periode yang rentan terhadap quarter life crisis akibat berbagai tuntutan dan tantangan kehidupan. Kondisi ini juga dapat dialami oleh narapidana yang menghadapi tekanan selama menjalani masa pidana, seperti kehilangan kebebasan, keterbatasan hubungan sosial, dan stigma masyarakat. Selain itu, kondisi over kapasitas di lembaga pemasyarakatan berpotensi memperburuk kesehatan mental narapidana. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pemahaman mengenai faktor-faktor psikologis yang dapat membantu narapidana dewasa awal menghadapi quarter life crisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self compassion dengan quarter life crisis pada narapidana Lembaga Permasyarakatan Kelas I Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasioanal yang melibatkan 66 narapidana berusia 20-29 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan 2 skala, yaitu self-compassion (α = 0,843) dan quarter life crisis (α = 0,771). Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis uji product moment dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS versi 27.0.1. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self-compassion dengan quarter life crisis, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar -0,460 (p < 0,01) dan nilai f = 1,762 (p < 0,01). Selain itu, memberikan kontribusi sebesar 21,1% dan sisa 78,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini. ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF-COMPASSION AND QUARTER LIFE CRISIS IN INMATES OF CLASS I CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION BANDAR LAMPUNG By: Vhina Ifa Aprisari Early adulthood is a period that's vulnerable to a quarter life crisis due to various life demands and challenges. This condition can also be experienced by inmates who face pressures during their sentences, such as loss of freedom, limited social interactions, and societal stigma. In addition, overcrowding in correctional facilities can potentially worsen inmates' mental health. Therefore, it's necessary to understand the psychological factors that can help early adult inmates cope with a quarter life crisis. This study aims to find out the relationship between self-compassion and quarter life crisis among inmates at the class i penitentiary in bandar lampung. The study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method involving 66 inmates aged 20-29 years. Data collection was done using 2 scales, namely self-compassion (α = 0.843) and quarter life crisis (α = 0.771). Data analysis was carried out using the product moment test with the help of IBM SPSS version 27.0.1. The results of this study show that there is a significant negative relationship between self-compassion and quarter-life crisis, with a correlation coefficient (r) of -0.460 (p < 0.01) and an f value of 1.762 (p < 0.01). In addition, it contributes 21.1% while the remaining 78.9% is influenced by other factors outside the variables studied in this research. Keywords: Self-Compassion, Quarter Life Crisis, Prisoner.
