Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik kelas X pada mata pelajaran Biologi di SMA Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 66 peserta didik yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes keterampilan proses sains, kemudian dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, Independent Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji Independent Sample t-test memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), sehingga terdapat pengaruh signifikan penerapan model PjBL terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Rata-rata nilai posttest. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Project Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik pada pembelajaran Biologi. ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the science process skills of tenth-grade students in Biology at SMA Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung. This study employed a quantitative approach using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 66 students divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected using a science process skills test and analyzed through normality, homogeneity, Independent Sample t-test. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The Independent Sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that the PjBL model had a significant effect on students' science process skills. The experimental class achieved higher posttest. Therefore, the Project Based Learning model is effective in improving students' science process skills in Biology learning.
