Abstract

Abstract Strategy; Head of Administration; Administrative Services Quality administrative services play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of education in schools, thus requiring the head of administration's strategy to achieve effective and efficient administrative services. This study aims to analyze the head of administration's strategy in improving administrative services at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung based on Fred R. David's strategy theory, which includes strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the head of administration, vice principals, administrative staff, and service users. The results show that strategy formulation is carried out through identifying administrative service needs and problems by involving various parties. Strategy evaluation is carried out through routine coordination, direct supervision, and feedback from service users. The contribution of this study shows that the head of administration's strategy is able to improve administrative services for correspondence through more organized document management, financial administration through systematic recording and reporting, student administration through more effective student data management, and personnel administration through more organized employee data management.
